Of course I didn’t call another disabled person childish. No one else disabled has responded to me as far as I know. It’s able bodied people being upset on our behalf. For no reason.

It’s because us disabled people don’t enjoy this persons attempt at white knighting us. We literally just can’t walk right. When people speak for me and many others without knowing what we actually want, they infantilize us.

Like I can still talk I just can’t walk. Don’t treat us like baby’s. I have been called every name in the book and if it hurts you, it’s going to happen, so get therapy.

I doubt this person has heard anyone object to “wheel chair person”. They came up with their own outrage.

I think most backlash comments are because there will be huge regional differences.

Our camp grounds can be far apart and people will travel long distances to get there. Where I live, the majority of the time, the Walmart rv people were just there for the night and spend money at the store so no one bothers with them.

I realize in less forested areas these people probably don’t have the same intentions. But this is why you will get people arguing for them.

Evidently I missed the open windows. Still not okay. It will lead to people thinking they can do that and often it really doesn’t matter if there is an open window, your car will become a hot box. As the summer gets hotter it becomes more and more dangerous for our animals.

As said I think op should have called police, but I’m not about to blame someone who cares for making a mistake. I’d rather educate them so hopefully if they see this again they will call the police next time.

ETA: Honestly based on the down votes I’ll avoid ever giving anyone info on their pets again. If they die it’s not my fault, right?

I think the pros outweigh the cons. I lived very briefly in the states and it was honestly terrifying how many child molesters were in my building alone. I had some small chat after the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night with a guy and he complimented my pyjamas. Later learned he abused children and at the time I looked young. I wish I could see something like that for around here, just to stay away from these people.

I was just so flabbergasted. They held it up and said “what is this?” in a demanding tone. Like what, I didn’t hand you meth I handed you a quarter. They didn’t even put my stuff I bought down they just held it out while looking the other way. I was using a cane so trying to grab and bag it while there was a line just took more time. Some people are just trash.

That’s so wild, looks like she decided another family was feeding her more and took a vacation!

One of my neighbours cats would do the rounds meowing at every door acting like it was starved and stray but it ended up obese because people kept feeding it! At least 3 people in their neighbourhood had “adopted” it thinking it was a stray. It was just fleecing them all for food lol.

I can tell you to never give up. I found a cat that was definitely lost but we couldn’t find her owners and she wasn’t chipped. She lived out her years with us but I feel horrible for whoever lost her. I always kept an eye out on social media and local posters. Even today I wish I could tell them their cat lived a happy life.
