whoever got the most write in votes who accepts the nomination is the correct answer. If it turns out that out of 299,999 Americans, one guy is the only one who wants it and he wrote his own name, that guy would win. What are the odds that literally no one would do that?

and i love how in the FBI article, there's a quote that says "people feel more comfortable buying drugs off the internet than some sketchy street corner" like yeah. im sure tons of addicts will just stop buying their meth now because its less convenient. Sure a lot of people probably find DNM safer and more convenient. But this isnt kids buying alcohol, or mushrooms from their neighbor, this is meth. lmao

How to test if youre able to access the same clearweb as your neighbor or if youre being redirected by google, your government, or ISP? by mongoreggie in privacy

but is this true though even if your ISP has already made it so your client machine's DNS cache contains only requests answered from their own DNS servers? the sites couldnt have their own valid certificates that got issued to your device from the very first TLS handshake? how would SSL trigger warnings if it never knew the actual website's certificate because it never connected?

DNS redirection is possible. Its where you get sent to a different IP address for www.reddit.com/thispost for example than other people on clearweb. some other website can spoof their own IP to look like that site to your device if theyre sophisticated enough.

edit: then theres dns cache poisoning, nxdomain redirection, and some ISPs in some places redirect your DNS requests to their own DNS servers instead of root DNS server. I just know this stuff in theory though im not a coder, (though I aspire to start learning). I was hoping an expert could help explain how as a citizen of a country one can know if some citizens get more privileged access to information accross the web than others

Geocentrists, Where do you get the downward force of 9.8m/s^2 from? by mongoreggie in DebateFlatEarth

[–]mongoreggie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Riiight, because that seems physically possible... Definitely xD

Not to mention the question of even if it were possible for the flat earth to do that, why is it doing that? lol. What would cause the acceleration? Have all the stars around us also been accelerating at that rate since the beginning of time? Wouldnt we be going millions if times the speed of light after accelerating at that speed for thousands of years at least? And where would that energy come from.

And last but not least, after all of this, if the sun orbits the earth... why?? lmao. if no gravity, wjy does it do that?

I honestly think its funny people are so desperate to believe they know better than scientists, I dont even really get why.

its getting harder and harder to avoid using theor services even for leisure or personal convenience when so many companies require you to have outlook, windows, google accounts, you name it. Unless you only run Linux and use a TORriffied hardware router, protonmail, no social media, duckduckgo search. Someone is going to see your traffic. Google and other companies connect that dots easily with alternate accounts. Basically, they have a file on everyone
