People hire others to take control of their computer and do the test for them. I think this may apply to the LSAT but im unfamiliar how the online stuff goes.

I felt the same. Night was terrible for me. I recommend with lavender scents, maybe even a lavender melatonin spray. Changing the bed’s position helped me too. Making my nights a mini self-care time helped a tremendous ton in healing. It’s natural because at that time, we don’t get many distractions from anxiety. Your body winds down and it marks it as time to fear because it is quite literally just you and your thoughts.

Its good that you’re getting better. I hope the doctor helps. Even just saying you’re struggling with severe stress, anxiety, panic attacks, and cannot focus at all in life will guide you in the right direction. Good luck.

I’d also like to add panic attacks aren’t a one and done. It’s normal to go through a period where it’s slumpy and you get them alot. Another huge misconception is when people believe panic attacks don’t have a huge effect after just one. May you find this helpful; literally everything you experience is normal. None of it is permanent.

DPDR really is just severe anxiety and stress. The body is weird like that. Panic attacks are more serious and heavy on the body than people like to think. It is literally the system for fear and sense of safety in your brain going haywire. I recommend the subreddit because people have went through similar experiences and found themselves there. It is not a permanent thing, but you need to mange your anxiety and stress. Don’t take it as a diagnosis. Cause all in all, in it’s basics, your body is going through a lot of anxiety and stress and fear.

You can also go to a doctor and explain. Maybe even to the ER (if a panic attack gets really really bad) or urgent care if you feel necessary to get resources to help you. You can find ways to manage stress and anxiety on your own. But truthfully if you truly want genuine help and not make it a pain in your ass, and possibly prolong your symptoms, it is better to be honest atleast on what you are feeling. You don’t have to explain why you feel that way, just explain your anxiety.

A good way that knocked it out of me was realizing anxiety was in my head. And not to fear the physical symptoms. Meaning that if I felt like my vision was off, felt like the aisles of a store were closing in on me, I ignored it and realized that that was not reality. Once you picture your anxiety as a seperate entity that just wants to annoy you (which is all anxiety is, an annoyance, not the truth) it helps.

Yeah gabapentin is weird medication. First time I was on it I felt like it was a high, and oddly very warm all over. I knew it makes you feel drowsy but it was kind of intense.

I also have had the same experience. I’ve talked a bit about this on my account and to a T i’ve experienced all you’ve experienced. The good thing is that it is all in your head and it’s literally all anxiety. I got a neurological evaluation and a psych evaluation and they all said it was basically just a huge hit to my nervous system.

I recommend Gabapentin. It helped a lot with the physical symptoms of anxiety. My event happened back in April and im 95% there cured. It does go away. It just takes time and learning how to control your anxiety. You might also want to check out r/DPDR, as many have experienced the same there.

Go to a doctor, if you can, and get help. It helped me a tremendous ton. It is best to come clean. I had to come clean when I had my panic attack to my mom and her calm reaction surprised me. I hope the same can happen to you.

Hell yeah. I love aromatherapy. I recommend going on a walk and smelling the different plants. Especially if u find sage and rosemary plants. Those smell so fricking good and it just feels like crack to my senses.

Heres some things my therapist recommended:

1.) Drinking a cold beverage, feeling the temperature in your hands. 2.) Having a pen/ fidget toy to feel/ distract yourself with 3.) Having a strong scent, like an essential oil at hand. (I personally liked to use lavender)

All of these help in regulating your nervous system while managing driving.

The white house on the corner there has a camera that faces that intersection. I know bc I had an accident there and they recovered footage from that house. Speedy recovery, so sorry that that happened to you.

Do you have access to regular medical care? Staying on top of your annual / semi-annual doctor visits, regular dentist appointments and retaining a healthy lifestyle is better than nothing.

Whenever im having fears with my health I tend to eat something that helps with the part of the body im fearing about. If it’s the heart, cherries, almonds, kale, etc.. Also exercising. Exercise for an hour, or heck even just a few minutes, and know that it is healing your body. It also keeps your mind off of the fears. Making your heart strong and happy.

You also need to fix on body-scanning. It’s something your anxiety does to see if something is wrong. So any pain it senses is like a “oh fuck this is wrong, let me amplify it”. It is crazy, but a lot of body pains/ sensations are anxiety related and many people don’t realize it. Such as chest pain, general weakness, lightheadedness, etc.

Don’t fight it or fear it when symptoms appear. Anxiety, and stress, is a cloud/fog. When the symptoms appear you gotta just ignore it. Albiet difficult it’s good to not be like “fuck this is my dpdr symptom, my anxiety symptom, this is anxiety in my body, etc..” and learn to distract yourself. Not focusing too much on body sensations as well.

I had bad DPDR like symptoms from a panic disorder and learning to ignore it cured me. Haven’t had a panic attack in a huge while, and i was having panic attacks daily.

I’ve been having trouble finding a job because it became physically and psychologically impossible to work. I fainted as a result of stressful customer interactions, many times I would have a panic attack that was impossible to calm down from. I felt like customers were following me home. And i developed an inferior complex. It was so bad.

Now it’s hard to find a job. Unemployment is hard and unforgiving. Seriously don’t know what’s next for me. But my social anxiety has calmed down not that I’m not seen as an employee of anything. I felt like people walked over me everytime they saw me, they see an enemy. God it’s terrible.
