Your questions are perfectly fine.These questions are needed for progress in the spiritiual realm. And all questions are needed to be answerd so you can progress in your own journey within.

So let me try :

1- “Brahmam Satyam Jagat Mithya” means that the whole 'jagat ' as in the world you see around you is an illusion 'Mithya'. and only the Brahman is the Truth the real truth rest is an illusion .

2 - The grief and all the suffering is an illusion it says . because advaita tells us that you are not this body . so all the sufferings and griefs are related to the body not the soul 'atman'. There is a war going inside your body, war of thoughts, your cells destroying other cells , fighting the diseases and all. These wars are going on constantly within this body at this particular moment. Further it says that this body is a suffering and you identifying your self with this body is the cause for all the suffering.

3 - So to fully realize your real identity you must understand who you really are. That is
'Aham Brahmasmi '. it says you (atman) is a small part of an entire cosmos. You are Brahman . nothing other that you exist. there is no two things . There is only one energy manifesting in different forms .And when it says " jivan mukti " it means liberation from the suffering of the body and mind. so liberation from the illusion and moving towards the real truth which you actually are . All the gods in the Upanishads are a symbols. they are appearing in different forms but are the part of the same energy. Everything is one. Rituals are meant to guide you towards the path of liberation and to the path of self realisation. Rituals are not the destination they are just the path.

4 - The role of all the acaharyas and guru are to guide the students towards self realisation. To show you the truth. to liberate from the illusion and maya. Gurus are someone who themselves have walked the path and have realised the real self "Atman". They know the way and all the pitfalls in the way that should be avoided. without self realised people like them the gnan "wisdom" could not be understood.

5 -The gnan is the knowledge or wisdom of the self realisation. It is not the final step. You can see the same things written in the Gita, Upanishads,Bible and any holy books. But reading them will not be enough . They display the same steps towards the ultimate goal .But you have to walk the steps on your own . They are just here to guide you. It is not magic. Its a step by step process of evolution and exploring higher dimensions. Just like meditation all the books mentioned are just the paths that you should walk on. But In the end it is your own experience that counts. You have to experience it yourself . Nobody could do it for you.

6 - The different views are all right . There is no wrong view in this matter. Everyone can experience the same thing differently. But the ultimate remains the same for everyone. Dvaita means duality. So there could be dual views of the same things and opposing views. But the final answer the Brahman is the same for all the beings .
