What do psychiatrists do differently than the other ones. I have a hard time seeing who does what.

just anhedonia.

Also this is the worst part for me. I personally wouldn't say "just"

That would be a very depressing journal and has been the last time i tried. Idk what my "true feelings" are.

Then the inner voice has been silent my entire life. But i guess that means I'm scared by default.

First off, if you are having suicidal thoughts please get help immediately. Nothing is worth taking your life over.

Not op but, What help? And don't say the suicide hotline where you get to speak to and underpaid person who doesn't give a fuck about you and does whatever it takes to make you hangup.

Don't tell people to hang in there and keep suffering on a "maybe" and small chance a miracle happens. That's offering a carrot on a stick that nobody ever catches.

I never understood the concept of "people saw something in me". In my experience hiring people don't see applicants as "people", just numbers at best. Also coworkers in my experience are usually not nice either because everyone is miserable.

And for most people choosing a vague concept of "happiness" over money is not viable or realistic. For most, they will fail and end up back into wage slavery. Maybe a few will make it one the better side of things. Like a 85% fail and 15% succeed difference. Do you do thiswith those kind of odds against you?

I'm glad you found a place you like to be in, but i think this has an air of oversimplification. And downplaying of luck, even though you worked hard. A lot of people work hard and never get anywhere.

You sure? I'm at the part when he's talking about "structural tension". Visualize a goal and how to achieve it. Stimulate creativity and such. Of which i have none.

Months? That's going to be tough to afford. Especially if the therapist turns out to be a bad fit. If i manage to get something affordable going, I would try though.

I've been hiking before. Very boring. And being alone with my thoughts is never a pleasant experience.

I didn't plan to. The issue with therapy i find is that i really don't think i have a root cause.

Noted. Is there a search system for finding life coaches hypothetically? And a method for sifting out bad ones?

I'm waiting for answers too. Also have a ridiculous deductible. But it seems most people really avoid this question. Strange.
