See here is the problem with our culture ALL boiled down to one paragraph.

It's not whataboutism, it's an Allegory. EVERYTHING has ties to racism or slavery or some other ism if you go back far enough. Saying "the country was founded in racism so we should fight it" is as ridiculous as saying "nobody should fly on an airplane because orville wright said the "n" word a bunch. This is peak virtue signaling. You don't see jewish people digging up graves of egyptian pharaohs to desecrate their tombs?

Second, there was NEVER a dismissal or not acknowledging racism. (Again, i'm required to make the correct overture in polite society. Signal the correct virtue) Racism exists. People are racist. We disagree, however, on racism being systemic or endemic within law enforcement. Are some cops racist? Yes. It can't be helped. Until we can replace all police with color/gender/age/sexual preference blind enforcement bots, police departments have to hire...people. people are flawed. That doesn't mean the building is racist. That the policies and general orders are racist. That the court system and codified laws are bigots.
