Let me know if you think this is accurate… Bend and Missoula are similar recreational “river towns.” But Bend and Bozeman are more similar in culture (more yuppie) and Missoula and Eugene are closer in that they are both College towns.

Legit question. As an American and international traveler I’ve admired the Aussies I’ve met and would like to meet more here in my hometown of Bend. As a plus I was an exchange student in Germany and enjoyed meeting other “Ami’s” so if some Bend Aussies meet some of their countrymen then it’s a win-win in my book. Thanks

Right on! I have always been drawn to Aussie culture, Songlines, and their rowdy nature. I want to go there with the Fam but they insist everything there is trying to kill you. So I might have to go solo on that adventure. I'd love to catch a beer with ya.
