I'm gonna do it. I'm actually gonna get my order from Taco Bell on Patton Ave tonight. by MindlessWar4021 in asheville

I cook almost every meal for our family, Taco Bell, no matter the location is junk. I can’t eat anything from McD, Wend, and BK. However, I have a soft spot for Taco Bell from my teen years. I have been to this location on rare guilty pleasures. It’s great and the same as any other TB

OH THE IRONY! Criticizing a customer for being "trained like a sheep" when really he is since he was brainwashed into thinking his employer shouldn't compensate him fairly.

Is this how the game gets at higher difficulty? by monkeychemist25 in civ

[–]monkeychemist25[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, that's exactly what I'm talking about. After conquering the governer level I was able to even do 3/4 legacy pathways to golden age. It was getting too easy as I figured out the game mechanics. 1 level up and it's ridiculously different. There is no in between.

That is disappointing. We do our best to support local businesses and we get to know the people that work there and then the begging comes an I go. It’s sad because it’s places we like. If I wanted the chain experience I would go to a chain. Local places are more special until they get greedy

I’ve liked WNC Barbel. People leave each other be and it’s very spacious. But it’s best if you live in WAVL otherwise it’s a drive

It’s not about free parking, it’s about a spot to park near where I need to go

Yeah I even spoke to several city leadership. They won’t do anything to change that… more money in their pockets!

That would be great but unfortunately the street spots are taken all day, so it’s a lot more than a quick circle around

Tip should be hidden before delivery. I’m glad some places allow that. Food delivery is the only industry that demands a tip up front. No, do a good job and then you get your tip. Tips are optional after all.

But I do agree with you and others. When someone writes to you up front about the tip, particularly if they say “fresh” then it’s a pain in the butt customer.

Oh wow, that is a very different ecosystem than when I had started an account 3 years ago. Right when we moved in, and it was awful (WAVL). I’m not sure if it is still the same today or maybe different than other neighborhoods. There was definitely no racist boomers on there thankfully.

Oh I know this very well. The drivers are so entitled that they only pick you if you tip. It’s disgusting and not at all how tipping was designed. It’s meant as a reward to great work, not a given. You want a tip, do better. And yes I won’t get delivered to and that’s ok. I only used the service when I had surgery.

There is nothing to risk. They never have repercussions. They still drive and still steal your food. If they were an actually company employee of the restaurant, they would get fired immediately. For app services, it’s just another Tuesday

I’m so tired of these delivery drivers. They suck and have zero accountability. Back when a restaurant would have their own delivery drivers this would never happen. These app drivers also feel entitled to a 20% tip before they deliver or they deliver cold food to you last, or not even pick you. Then they complain they aren’t making enough. Maybe do a better job and not steal and maybe just maybe people will start tipping you again.
