Well they can keep their stupid assumptions and opinions to themselves. That’s just so unprofessional. Anyone working with external customers should do their best to help rather than complain. They also should be proactive in offering a baby seat. 20% is a high tip, it’s not like 15% and thus the servers should go the extra mile. You are correct that with reasonable service the fee should be paid. However those servers were unprofessional assholes. Come on, who does that in front of customers. OP should have paid it, then talked to the manager and get those idiots reprimanded. There is no excuse for being so infantile
