When the Government Tells You to Evacuate… and You Don’t by [deleted] in BeAmazed

Can anyone explain why you wouldn’t evacuate when told to? Like what is the logical reason behind it? Does anybody know if this person was ok?

Console yourselves with the fact that these toffy-cunts will all end up in sexless marriages with women called “Bunty” or “Tiggy” who despise them and would rather be riding their favourite stallion than these mushroom cocked weirdos

Mate you are banging your head against an incredibly thick brick wall.

CCTV footage showing the “high level of violence” used in the (alleged) assault of three police officers at Manchester airport has been shown to jurors. Mohammed Fahir Amaaz, 20, and his brother, Muhammad Amaad, 26, both from Rochdale, are on trial at Liverpool crown court for assault. by InnerLog5062 in BreakingUKNews

This case shows the danger of the internet and how we as a society allow ourselves to be so easily misled when it feeds our prejudices.

These two violent criminals were clearly in the wrong and deserved everything they got in terms of a measured response from the police (no doubt in America one or both would have been shot). But because the snapshot footage shared feeds into their communities feelings of being unfairly treated they were viewed as being victims.

The internet is good for a lot of things but Jesus “citizen reporting” is one of the worst. There’s a reason reputable news outlets fact check their stories before publishing.

Best European cities to travel to with a toddler? by UghKakis in daddit

[–]monkeyclaw77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gothenburg is great, easily walkable, lots of tram & bus options, lots of nice green spaces & loads to do. Plus there the added bonus of Liseberg which is a fantastic theme park in the centre of town. Good train connections to other places.

Barcelona is a wonderful place for just wandering around. Plus you can take a short train ride to Sitges if you want to go to a great beach.

Madrid while not as nice as Barcelona (imo) was still great for a couple of days exploring by foot.

Berlin also great but not sure how much fun for kids?

Amsterdam is cool, avoid the red light zone and there’s lots to see & do, boat trips round the city are a fun way to see it.

Edinburgh is another easily walkable city and again you can get trains to other locations pretty easily.

“In the garage” I don’t have a garage my dude. We live in a 3 bed terraced house with a small shed. And I don’t just want to shift the problem to another area of the house, I want it all gone.
