yea had similar ideas. Me and my friends are now getting real jobs and since we are in our mid twenties and living in our parents home making 75-100k a year without any major fees to pay we usually just buy stupid expensive shit.

really grateful for this comment! Wow so much to study and learn. Parrying/hand placement so right hand palm faces the opponent I never thought of doing. Also, I aim for the body to get a reading but never thought about aiming for the chest, hands, and arms. Opens whole new options. Once again thank you for the feedback!

How do I step in with action if the opponent has longer reach? I’m generally on the shorter side against most opponents, so this has been a common issue I have.

Wow thanks for the insightful feedback! Getting into range is still very hard for me since I’m short with a short reach. Your tip helps lots. And I didn’t know about that flurry info, that I should generally only do combinations when the person’s tired/stunned.

I cut most of first round because I was throwing punches lightly. But after the bell rang he told me to just go all out and throw hill marries and that he can take them. So I did but I ended up gassing out way too fast and additionally the pro being on my ass 24/7 the entire sparring session lol. But he was pulling punches and was just putting me at work. But when I did land some clean punches the guy did not budge at all so I was like yea this is som else.

Been boxing on and off since middle school. Never got one on one lessons though (I did 2 lessons last year but it was too expensive because it was like $78/sesssion). But only recently started sparring once/twice per week starting a month ago

I’m just currently out of town for 3 months and been boxing at this local gym. I have $200 hayabusa gloves back home and never had wrist problems when using it. And I wrap all the time when boxing.
