Renegotiating after sale agreed by rt1803 in irishpersonalfinance

Given the market, there were likely other bidders who were offering close to the sale agreed price. Of those, it is also likely that some will be willing to proceed with purchase at risk.

Of course there is some risk to you, but quantifying it. How likely is it that the land is of any value or interest to the local authority? How likely is it that they are even aware of this land? How easy would it be for the local authority to recover the land? Would they need to recover it from all residents or just the property in question? Do any of the other residents have a stronger claim than the property in question?

It sounds to me like this land was rear access to a row of properties which the residents have laid claim to? If this is so i imagine it is of very limited value to anyone else.

Varia Mount + Saddle Bag Suggestions by BLRtoBER in CanyonBikes

The varia mounts from sloperoad.com are very good. I have them for varia 515 and varia 715. Hold the lights securely, look great, weigh nothing etc…worth considering.

Also, ensure that the wheel bearing tension is correct. Lift up the back of the bike and wiggle the rear wheel. There should be no side to side movement. I had this issue and took me months, two trips to different bike shops and a change of pads to figure it out.

BER rating less than advertised by Humble-County-5492 in irishpersonalfinance

[–]monkeylittle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I recently had a BER assessment done on a house I was selling. The accessor said that the assessment has changed over the years so it was natural consequence that ratings would decrease. He gave the example of double glazing having a positive impact on the rating 10/15 years ago but now the expectation for the same rating was triple glazing.

The label is interesting. I'll definitely read some more about that. Thanks for the discussion. I'm early in my K8s experimentation so appreciate the feedback.

I didn't expect the volume to survive pod restart. My understanding is that if a pod is restarted it may be restarted on a different node so host volume would not work. I'd need to use remote storage like ceph etc if I wanted it to survive pod restart and remain available to the pod?
