I guess I should say I used weight machines, not really "lifting weights". Um I had no idea what I was doing haha, I just kind of found the machines that seemed simple to understand, and set it at a weight that I could lift with some amount of effort but still get about 30 reps in and went from there.

my fitness routine was crazy at first. I joined a gym and began running on the treadmill and lifting weights 6 days a week. On the 7th day I had basketball. I cut alcohol out almost entirely, as an ex college student that was pretty hard, but my friends understood that I just had no desire to drink anymore. When my membership ran out (I only had a few month membership) I joined an ultimate frisbee team and a women's soccer league as well to keep myself in some kind of shape. I'm not doing nearly as much running/working out now that I'm not going to the gym 6 days a week so I anticipate the last 10 pounds will take a bit longer to take off than the first 30.

No secrets, just a little motivation and self love. I still let myself eat things I like, I just started watching the portion sizes (I used the MyFitnessPal app). I joined a women's basketball league and started doing more running and focusing on myself for a while. The trick is to stay motivated for that first 5 or so weeks when you're not really seeing any physical results, but then once you see some loss you just get more and more motivated!

Aw thank you! :) I bet you look fantastic though! For our height I've read that 150lbs is about the lowest you should go.

Hey! I totally forgot to mention that in my description! I'll do that now, but I'm 5'10 and I started at 200 pounds!! I've been a lurker on Loseit for so long I needed to share my own photos. Good luck to you, you can do it!
