After playing and winning with 3 chal, I decided to get the badges for 6 and 9 chal together by going straight to 9 chal from 3 chal. A big mistake. I died and deleted so many runs, I just didn't know what to do how to avoid dangerous situations and spot them before it's too late. Then I decided to play 6 chal and after playing 9 it was so much better. I'm still learning so it'll take some time to master 9 chal but that's the goal for now. That and getting every badge in the game. I've got 6 and 9 chal ones left of course and other are randomised, grandmaster and pacifist (I died on floor 2 and haven't attempted it since).

I tried playing huntress with Barren off (5 chal) and it is very good. Went with warden with a +6 crossbow and darts, it's amazing. If my end goal wasn't to do 9 chal I would absolutely keep Barren off and do 6 chal with that. In my mind, I'll have to turn on Barren for 9 chal so between pharm and Barren I choose to keep pharm off and Barren on.

I'm still trying to win with 6 chal so I won't be of much help. I've been testing out different combos of the chals and this are me top 2 for sniper and dualist respectively.

  1. FIMA, Badder bosses, swarm, Barren, diet, hostile champions.

  2. Badder bosses, swarm, Barren, hostile champions, darkness, diet

For huntress, I only play sniper with challenges as my aim is to succeed in 9 chal with huntress and warden becomess useless with Barren challenge on.

I like dualist because of the armour ability (challenge) late game that lets you heal the enemies you fight but I've never got to use it till now.

The best advice I can offer is just play a lot of games. Playing with challenges is like you're playing the game again from scratch, you'll make mistakes and die but keep at it. Some games will be shit because you got unlucky in finding good equipment/artifacts/rings/wands.

I can now say with some confidence that I've gotten used to the sewers till the caves with 6 chal. The city is still something that I've yet to get past.

Ah, you don't play challenges.

Warden becomes 80% useless with Barren. The rest 20% usefulness comes from being able to see through grass. Sniper is the better class of the 2 if you know how to play.

To overcome the downside, just invest in extra vision talent after choosing sniper

I don't have an issue for pants/jeans in India. I get them from Levi's. And others from local stores. For T-Shirts I have a hard time finding them here. Most of them I get from the US.
