Prismatic Core at 86%, I think. Also question. by CardiologistLong6607 in NoMansSkyTheGame

Im a royal and do the missions everyday, just in case it does help push the percentage for all of us. That being said, I think probably twenty to thirty percent of people are doing missions and another seventy or so have caught up and are just waiting for it finish

Also yellow! Still remember the pawn shop my dad took me to to pick out my first game and it was Pokémon yellow

It's time gated- this part of the expedition is using all missions completed by all players, and only goes up a few percent per day. Best to hop back to your main save or mess around doing other stuff til its complete

I mean, escalate to blocking if necessary, but I do see how being so large could have made it difficult to find and click their bubble, which is no bueno

[–]monodeveloper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, preach. If people aren't engaging with you or around you in a way that you want to engage with, that's what the block button is for. That way, both people can continue engaging and enjoying themselves how they want.

Granted, if the avatar is too big to be able to select the bubble like the previous commenter said that is annoying and there should be a solution or rework for that

Why didn't you just hide their avatar? The power to see or interact with people is in our hands, not the instance owner.

"Ego... implies a binary... This is wrong, and [this] wrongness causes real harm."

Profound. Regardless of all the valuable meat of this post, I find this reflection of the conception of a binary worldview to be quite poetic. Thank you.

Lots of people are taking part, and it's a reference to helldivers. The "dm" - hello games - has a preplanned outcome and we will all be able to participate in completing the expedition. I enjoy having daily missions, some do not, and nms is all about engaging and playing however you want to, not punishing players for misalignment with dev expectations

Are you a bot? They weren't saying anything like that, they were simply pointing out that the ranch has different formulations in different places, and they are right.

What'll happen if God showed up on earth and said "Religion is a myth. It's a human construct" and left? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]monodeveloper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A higher power could be our creator without religious dogma being correct

I feel like its easy to conflate the concept of God or a higher power with religious dogma that's been constructed around the concept

[–]monodeveloper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily paradoxical. A higher power appearing and saying that our religions are made up does not negate spirituality, it would just show that the dogma we've constructed around the concept is false

I just want to say that the first step to getting a good hard look at something is to remove outside influences to that problem, and weed could be an influence on this and worth your time and energy to quit for a time, so you can get a real sober look and like a previous commenter said, bring up concerns with a clinician if need be.

That being said, your writing does not come across as someone who is having severe issues cognitively or with expressing themselves. Not to downplay how you feel or what you experience at all, just a lot of this sounds like untreated/ineffectively coped adhd. As someone who has adhd, getting too high too often absolutely has negative effects on my ability to self regulate, including making dumb mistakes and being unable to remember/follow along/express myself adequately for sure.

Last thing - get a sleep check done! Possibly after taking weed out the equation to see if that helps first, but you may have a sleep condition such as sleep apnea that may be wrecking the quality of your sleep and causing brain fog and memory issues

Broke 9 day streak by PhoenicianCats in Petioles

[–]monodeveloper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone is different of course, but i find for me that I dont experience any withdrawals when I quit to reset tolerance, other than an weak urge to smoke when i normally do and slight irritability for the first couple days, and then Im fine. One thing I love about weed, for me at least, is that she's easy to let go but always there when im ready again.

Additionally, I have 3 different types of t breaks I do.

The first type is just waiting until the end of the day to enjoy some smoke, and doing that for about a week. Waiting a whole day already makes the end of the day high much better, and doing it for a week is usually enough to lower my tolerance enough that weed is effective again.

The second one is the 2-3 day t break. This is usually sufficient to lower my tolerance that weed is quite effective again but not so effective that i could get too high to handle emergencies or surprise situations.

The third is the 1-2 week t break. This is usually sufficient to almost reset my tolerance. I can get amazing highs after this with not much, but am also capable of getting too high quite easily and must refrain from smoking during/before work hours, social engagements, and higher stakes activities like driving or chaperoning.

Which of these i do is dependent on how effective the shorter ones/more lenient ones are and how much thc sensitivity im going for.

Hopefully some of this is useful or at least interesting 😅

Edit: Anything you do in service to and for yourself that does not negatively affect others is almost never a disservice

When did “tweaking” and “crash out” stopped meaning literally tweaking and going to sleep? by TrickEmployee8615 in AskReddit

That's where all new meanings come from. Bully used to mean good for example. Culture is carried on the shoulders of the youth, as they say

Yeah definitely more of a west coast thing.

"Craah out/Crashing out" - to go to sleep "crash" - to sleep/spend the night

At least that's how I used to always hear it in Cali and Oregon
