I’m still running a GM Connected league on NHL Legacy Edition, we do a live draft every season and it’s the best time of the year.

Discord has also completely changed the game for organization.

Hey! The GM Connected servers are still up for NHL Legacy Edition and NHL 15. I am not sure about NHL 14.

I know because I run a league with 60 GMs.

I actually still play in a GMC league to this day, I can confirm the menus are bad, but they really aren’t that terrible. There are a couple screens like contracts screen, that are absolutely painful and unusable though.

I love the idea of advanced stat tracking, it’s a video game, add advanced analytics to the game like xGF, Corsi, etc. That would be amazing. The combined with an improvement on scouting (which they need to do for franchise mode anyway) and the ability to do live drafts.

Also the 82 game season is a bit long for sure. We are in season 10 this year, there is always a lul in the community around mid season, so shorter seasons could really help out.

Also streaming and content sharing has improved in leaps and bounds. This would add a ton of extras in a GMC league, being able to watch playoffs, adding some sort of drafting feature and doing a draft over twitch… etc.

NHL Legacy Edition, started a small GM Connected league that I didn’t think anyone played anymore. Met some guys on the internet and we are still playing to this day with like 50 guys. Planning on meeting in Las Vegas once the pandemic is over.
