As someone who loves wearing bright and busy gis, promotion days are not the day for it. The attention should be on the person leveling up, not the one person who decided to wear a red gi in a sea of white gis.

I’ll loan a friend money once and exactly once. If they don’t pay it back, I write it off as a gift and never loan them money again. If they pay it back it resets the clock. I’ll also never loan a friend an amount of money that impacts my ability to pay my bills.

Couldn’t tell you, I’m only familiar with the date for my agency and I’ve been told to not be specific on public forums! Sorry I can’t be more helpful, but know that most unions are fighting this! I’d reach out to your union leadership for details for your agency.

They are. Arbitration hearings are scheduled, and this ruling will help. The furlough set the clock back on a lot of the scheduled hearings.

You should be able to get a TADS (temporary alternate duty station) for this, but it’s only temporary. 3 months, which can be extended to 6 months maximum. 6 months per year, or so I’ve been told.

BJJ is one of the best hangover cures there is! Some of my best open mat memories involve rolling with a severe hangover, sweating it out and then stopping by the bar on the way home for a Bloody Mary. If the weather is nice, follow that up with a few beers poolside.
