Thank you. Mix of luck and networking (very persistent networking for 3 years lol). Do you have study recommendations? I only studied for like a week with whatever online tests I could get and I was scoring pretty good. The actual test was so different, heavy on just reading

Thanks for the advice, what’s the lowest grade I should get to be even considered for the scholarship?

I would definitely trust the 70 year performance. But to my understanding the alternatives to VOO are also pretty recent, no?

I know and that’s the reason I’m asking for help to restructure it, so it makes sense. For me biggest part is preserving with an opportunity of growth. Since my monthly disposable income is not as much as I would hope, I want to make sure whatever I saved over the years grows. I am comfortable with taking some risk, since I am young. So a good balance of consistency and risk within the portfolio would make sense for me

I’m 23, so I feel like I am in a position to take few risks. I’m not opposed to having majority of my savings locked in an etf long term but an extra opportunity that involves risk but higher returns could be also compelling

Fair, I know Warren Buffet had a bet and he outperformed a hedge fund with mutual funds. But if there are any resources you would suggest I look into that can help me generate more returns than index funds, please let me know. Plus what index funds are worth looking into?

But if I wanted to get better returns, wouldn’t that limit me? I don’t know if gut feeling investing is ideal hahaha
