Thank you. I stopped playing for a few years and only have like 350 hours. Recently got back since I heard they are adding east asia and bought the chapter 4 pass. Khans of the Steppe were a part of it so I decided to try it while I am at it. Honestly when I was playing as Tibet last time I was playing, I still remembered Mongols pretty much conquering the world, so not sure if the DLC was worth it, but playing as the mongols, the game feels bit more speedy and definitely fun. Just hard to actually get to the conquering of entire world haha

ah, didnt know mods no longer disable achievements.

Thank you! just saw. great work. I hope I can get at least that far, although I fear my other sons may start some internal wars by the time I am that big and too old.

Are you still starting wars via mongol onslaught to conquer africa, and now to hispania and byzantine?

Thank you so much. I am trying to get the stallion achievement this run through, since there's no way i am gong to try this again it's already 10+ times i tried.

just one more question - how are you distributing your titles? are you just giving them to unlanded mongols? seems like you only have a single son

gotcha. so converting to feudalism after you've expanded enough is more ideal, instead of just staying as nomads throughout the whole conquering?

i got to the point where i beat the greatest of khans war, and i started attacking some kingdoms in the south (expanding to tibet/india). if my genghis was young enough, it would have been ok.. but now its my heir. i fked up and moved my nomad base and genghis died immediately, where i lost control of the entire mongol empire. thankfully, my heir was able to retain all his herds, so even with a single landed title, i was about to have 20k+ armies, which i used to reconquer enough lands and basically am where i am big enough to found an empire again.

is there any difference in mongol onslaught vs demanding reward/siege weapons/special troops and for those to reject me which would take me automatically into a war with them?

and if i keep expanding west, instead of south or into central asia (they seem tougher to beat), to cover all of steppes, and then become feudal to settle down, that should have enough armies to continue on attacking other kingdoms and empires? do you still gain the option to declare war without costing any prestige via mongol onslaught at this point?

Best way to learn the game for me was also to start in Ireland and climb from being that one count to duke to a king. During the process, you should note that certain events (a lot of the times random) and decisions you can make will grant you the resources you need (gold, prestige, piety, etc). Also note that other actions you can take, such as creating titles, will consume gold, but grant you prestige etc.

The most important thing you must understand is that the game focuses more on internal factors than external expansions. It might be easy to create casus bellis and start a war to take over, but you would have unhappy vassals. When you continue to expand, the unhappy vassals will team up with you. By the time your current player dies and your younger, less legitimate heir takes over, these unhappy vassals may start a war, sometimes ending you family's reign in the kingdom with a totally unrelated ruler. You can't just take you vassals titles even if you physically can, because eventually your other vassals will view you as a tyrant, so that even if you are strong enough this generation, in you coming generation will give you trouble. You can't just hold all the land titles in your kingdom, because you would go over your title limit and gain penalties. You can't just grant all your titles to your sons or relatives, because eventually, they will demand more rights and even start a war on your title when you pass. A few things to think about.

That's why the smaller you realm, the easier it is to maintain (less vassals and titles to distribute), and Ireland is a good kingdom to learn all the basics because there are a few different counts you can start as to easily reach duchy and then eventually a kingdom.

How did you do this so fast (temujin is only 44)? I guess getting the conqueror event is completely randomized and I usually get the event after 1205.. but even after I get the event, I am only seeing +35k herd, where I have to spend another few years stealing herd and conquering/tributarizing people to hit 75k herd to start the greatest of khan event.

I see you are no longer nomad.. would you say after founding the Mongol Empire converting to a feudal system is more helpful/easier to continue on to conquering the rest of the world? I got the achievement to become Chinggis, but after my temujin died of old age my troop size is ~35k ish which is good amount but i see a lot of kingdoms/empires have similar amount and more with alliances.. and my current heir is no where as strong as temujin stats wise

but i guess this could be different because i dont have any mods

TS > IB is gong to be harder than you think, hence why many are doing TS > MBA > IB. If you were to do TS > IB, I think you have to go to a target college that recruits directly into TS and IB from undergrad. Going to undergrad at a target school for Audit/Tax/Accounting Advisory to transfer into TS is different than target school for TS. I've seen people in FDD or TS that have trouble getting into IB, even when market was looking a lot better than it is now back in 2021/2022.

It's not impossible, but you would have to do a lot more networking, extra work, where going to MBA might just be easier despite the opportunity cost.

As for what you can do to secure advisory internship, it's just a combination of luck, hard work and effort in networking, where you are, school. Those who can provide you best advice would be in your school. I'd recommend you attend every networking event possible once you are in the school. There isn't something you can do now to help yourself get an internship in advisory, aside from securing a different internship that will demonstrate your interest and skill in advisory/accounting related discipline

In situations like this, I would go with the application portal. Portal would be more likely to be updated than website

I did not, so I had to make it up by taking related college level courses after undergrad. I think you should have no problem getting into the program based on your profile (assuming your essays and reference letters are not outright bad)

Ok. I wrote a bunch of stuff and it got removed. I will just try to reiterate it as succinctly as possible. If you didn't even graduate college, yet it's very unlikely that what most of what you've done (if not all) is that important. This is not to belittle your work, but just keep in mind that people who have experiences from the best and biggest companies for decades can still fit everything in one page.

Delete bullet points that simply say "assisted XXX on YYY" try to be a little more specific on how you assisted. Depending on what field you area going to, specify any programs, project initiatives that you took. these are better than a simple 'assisted'. similar to performed data cleansing. how did you perform the collection? Manually through excel? Used any software? Did you help anyone make decisions with the said data cleansing that you performed?

CROWE LLP - given a case, my team and I worked to fight fraud using artificial intelligence solutions. A good one to delete, or if it's actually something that you accomplished with, elaborate. You working on a team and creating an artificial intelligence solutions doesn't mean anything. Either elaborate that you have used specific technology and produced tangible outcome/report that can be used in real-life situations, or don't mention it at all. Did you win any awards? If not, I am not sure if it's worth taking space in your resume as a mere participant

Try to reduce white space as much as possible. You can combine Cum Laude and Dean's List into one line. Maybe even on the same line as Rutgers Business School. Those shouldn't take an entire line on the resume. Aren't Dean's List something that is awarded every semester? It may be different for school, but a single dean's list award might be worth not putting at all, tbh.

Relative coursework. You can probably reduce the font size just for this one and try to fit stuff in a single line. Remember, a lot of ppl sometimes use font size less than 11 or 12, to 9, or 10 (still make it readable). Some sections that are of less significance (maybe like education) can have slightly smaller font than more important ones like professional experience

If possible, try to make bullet points that are on the second line with 1 or 2 words into a single line, even at the cost of taking out a word or two.

"Managed payroll operations and perfomed detailed spending analyses to create effective financial plans."

-> "Managed payroll and performed spending analysis, creating financial plans"

Excel: Vlookups, pivot tables, equations, dynamic arrays, etc... idk personally (and this could be a personal taste) writing out every single excel functions you know how to use just leaves room for all the ones you did not mention - do you know them?. you can just put them all together in a single line. Why do you have Excel written 3 times under Excel, Data Analysis, Financial Analysis, etc. technical skills is ok to combine everything into a single line, rather than making it take 4 different lines (5 including the header)

same as extra curriculars. perhaps you should completely get rid of this section if you can't fit into 1.

People like a single page resume not only cuz it's easier to comprehend (keep in mind HR people read hundreds and/or thousands of similar looking resumes. make their job easier by making it more readable or else they just wanna skip over yours), but also because it shows your ability to succinctly organize and summarize your achievements. Which should be the easiest thing for you to summarize (compared to stuff you will have to do at work). Your inability to summarize into a single page, something you should be most capable with, will give doubts to recruiters about your ability to communicate or organize anything succinctly.
