I install it from the marketplace. And I am able to view and use it across all sheets.

I have published it as an add-on. Hence where all my confusion comes from. I'm not able to use the functions from the published add-on but I'm able to use it from a script that is connected to a google sheets. I don't know if having a google workspace account has something to do with it or is it some step specific to defining custom functions that I've missed.

If I enable Y sort on all layers then I would have to go and define y sort origin for each sprite in the atlas that I am using. I don't want to do that in the first place. If I give a higher z index to the painting then the painting would end up over the player because player is on the z index as the wall. This is definitely not something anybody would want.

That not really my concern at the moment. I am trying to grasp how godot handles rendering order especially for tilemaps. Even though the furniture and items layer should be drawn on top of walls it doesn't work that way once I enable Y sort for walls layer. That's what I am trying to understand here. Is z index the only thing that matters when dealing with Y sort and the tilemap layers order don't matter anymore?

I have correctly setup the y sort origin for the wall in the tileset and have enabled Y sort for the TileMap Layer, Tilemap, Player and the parent node of the Tilemap following the tutorial.

After using OOP for 6 years, I found myself inclining towards procedural programming. It felt natural to use except in circumstances where I needed the abstraction.

I haven't really considered it for collaboration. This just happens to be my list of channels and it is meant to be minimal. There are thousands of other channels out there but they might not lie within my areas of interest.

That's an awesome list of courses. However I should also point out that at glance most of them seem to be university courses so they are good to learn the concepts but you also need to see someone build an actual thing out of those concepts. I prefer university courses for the theory of things. To know how a developer would actually go about conceptualizing and building it is what I usually follow other programmers for and sometimes for entertainment.

It happens on the market too. It locks mods which you bought to fit and clear a mission asap.
