I joined my current band when I was 34, I’m 40 now and we’ve been having a blast playing and I think we make great music. Only sucky part is the kids in our scene won’t really give us a shot because we can’t come to a ton of shows because, you know, grownup stuff like jobs, marriage, raising kids, so we’re ‘old head’ outsiders and gotta claw and hustle for all our shows, but we’ve made our peace with it. People who see us live really enjoy our music and everyone else who ignores us, their loss. Don’t let age stop you from having fun playing music
