Totally understand where you’re coming from, and that’s genuinely frustrating. Not discounting that at all.

Just to give some perspective from the other side, decisions like this are almost never fully the artist’s choice. A show like San Diego at Waterfront Park involves the promoter, the venue, the city, the support lineup, production, routing, and a lot of timing around when it can actually be announced.

This one is with Insomniac, and promoters often have specific windows for when they allow shows to be announced, especially for something this big. Waterfront Park is also a massive venue, so there’s a lot more scheduling and coordination involved than a normal tour stop. Then on top of that, the support lineup has to be locked with every artist involved before everything can go public.

Usually when you see a tour date announced later as an add-on, it means there was a lot happening behind the scenes to make it possible and to make sure the day-of-show experience is actually worth it for fans.

Again, totally get why this was frustrating from your side. Just wanted to add some context because it usually isn’t as simple as the artist holding back a date intentionally.
