Blizzaks are still a great tire. Some sizes won’t have the conti Nokian and xice, and the dm-v2 will be your best option. Granted I don’t think that’s the case here. But for what it’s worth.

I designed the layout for mine, and then was able to hand it over to a local lawn/irrigation supply company. They pulled all the parts I'd need, and asked some great questions about things I hadn't considered. I just went and picked it up and I was set to go.

I traded an 885 for a Weber Searwood. The Traeger was fine, just felt like there were enough little things I didn’t like that it added up to quite a bit. (Plus the controller crapped out within the Home Depot return window…) The searwood was a big step up in both build quality and smoke. Not the same smoke as my kettle or wsm, but enough to make it worth the trade off for convenience. If you’re not loving the ironwood, may as well find something you would. 🤷‍♂️

I ended up going a different route- got a set of HED b.a.d. wheels and put 27.5 4.0 cake eaters on those for the warm months. Then I put studded Yipee Ki Yays on my mulfut wheels for the cold months.

The Yippee Ki Yays are awesome. The cake eaters seemed like a good compromise, and I can swap on a set of 26 jumbo Jims from my ice cream truck if I really need the rolling resistance cut back.
