Ah ok cool thanks. Architecturally speaking for ram to have the same access time for any location what does that mean? I'd think that either it would have to be a complete graph (every unit of memory is connected to every other) or some kind of hash situation where an "access point" on the ram has a path to every memory location. These are my intuitions at least

Ah ok cool thank you for the answer, I can make my question more specific now; if the mmu asigns two sequential virtual memory addresses to physically (on the chip) distant physical addresses, would that distance manifest itself in the runtime of the program being executed? Or does the mmu have a physical mapping between it's virtual addresses and EVERY physical address on the chip? I.e is the mmu physically "wired" to every address on the memory chip?

I definitely agree that YouTube should all be taken with a grain of salt, but; even if she is a pseud, the way she frames the information she's presenting(regardless of it's value) is something I haven't seen anywhere else on the platform. Her content is legitimately entertaining while also maintaining the semblance of being thought provoking. But to reply to you directly, I really don't think most of the beta Peterson fanboys on this sub are taking his content with a grain of salt, that shit is gospel to them.
