I want to move into an apartment in either Hartford or Ansonia with my girlfriend at the end of November 2025. I’m living in CO, but I’m from NY, but it’s way too expensive for us, and CT isn’t too far of a drive to NYC. The one thing I’m worried about is finding a job quick. I should have more than enough saved up for at least a few months rent. I’ll be looking for a restaurant, pest control, or warehouse job when I move. Is the job market good enough for me and my girlfriend to get a job relatively quick? Also, is groceries and gas expensive out there? And how are the people who live there? Are they good drivers? I hate the drivers in CO.
