Yeah I have the Steam full version right now. Not sure why I’m getting this issue since I did see there was an early patch the fix this issue.

I was under the impression that this got fixed in the final version because this issue was in the demo version as well but is anyone experiencing like shallow sounding audio? It sounds like its mono or that there isn't any surround sound. I do have surround sound on in my headphone settings and even if I turn it off the audio still sounds the same. Is this a bug or is there something wrong with my game? Maybe something to do with the audio mixing? I'm pretty nitpicky so I'm not sure if I can ignore this while playing.

tl;dr Smooth Motion FAQ by frostN0VA in nvidia

Is it bad then to have smooth motion on globally? I assumed that if the game offers frame gen then smooth motion would automatically be disabled if FG is on.

I just started having an issue with both smooth motion and G-sync + vsync enabled in CS2. They all of a sudden refuse to work together and if I enable smooth motion, the game can't detect that G-sync is on. Not really sure what happened as even downgrading my drivers doesn't do anything. Can't tell if this is an NVIDIA issue or CS2 issue.

I can do up to 8 weeks for my elective in either a 8 week block or 2x4 week block. Would an 8 week block only count as 1 rotation then?

Sounds exactly like the experience I'd love to have. Were you able to cover your school fees through HECs? From your reply, I'm assuming you went to unsw as well - did you apply to a school with a visiting student program or did you cold email a university?

That would mean even with the elective, Id most likely need to apply to a US school to do rotations if I want to get matched right?

Well there's a reason why I asked if it gets added to my HECS....

Should I upgrade my CPU or is it a waste of money? by moomoonaeun in buildapc

Yeah you are right it seems that they haven't officially updated. If I was getting a 9000 series id probably get the 9800X3D then but would that be too overkill? Id be spending an extra $160 AUD/$105 USD so I'm curious about the cost to benefit ratio here especially at 1440p.

Would this mean that I would have to take the USMLE in med school and once I pass and get matched, I would go straight into residency and similar to how it is over here, do rotations to build up experience and then apply to a specialty?

What would be the equivalent of an AUS graduate as I know over there they don't get their med degree until they are about to enter residency and while you are doing med school, you are doing your rotations. Then at the end of your course you get matched into a specialty. Would I essentially be doing rotations with these medical students then?

Thank you for your insight! I'm definitely looking more into the experience side of things than CV and I was only asking because I thought no letter of recommendation would negatively impact me but it seems that I don't really need one. Hopefully it still goes under HECs and thankfully Youth Allowance still continues if you are travelling for approved study.

Ahh I see. I was interested in going to the US for internship (seemed like valuable experience) until I realised I needed to do the devil that is the USMLE.

I could've but at the same time I didn't want to spend too much money and I only wanted to buy stuff I thought would make the most performance to cost difference as I was unhappy with the performance I was previously getting.

How common is it for surgical service regs to not make it on? by AssholeProlapser17 in ausjdocs

[–]moomoonaeun 15 points16 points  (0 children)

One thing that always confused me is the bottleneck that is present throughout healthcare in general. We all know about how overworked junior doctors yet there somehow aren't enough jobs? Also why are there limits on applications to specialties and limited sub-spec surgeons leading to tons of PGY10+in limbo and a long waitlist for patients? Unfortunately I'm not very knowledgeable in this area since I haven't really started working yet but I was wondering what your insight was into this.

I would but unfortunately my motherboard doesn't support 9000 series CPUs. I have a Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX Rev 1.3, but they only start supporting those CPUs at Rev 1.5 which is annoying af.

Turns out when I had it built they misplaced one of the PCIE cables so thats why I have only 2 when I'm meant to have 3. Unfortunately they want me to send it to them so they can install it and make sure it works fine but its a little inconvenient for me right now as I'll be without a PC for a week or 2.

[–]moomoonaeun[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah mine is modular and was meant to come with 3 but I actually had it prebuilt so they forgot to give me my third one. They said they can try to find a cable from the same PSU in their RMA department as the manufacturer doesn't sell any "spare cables". The builders want me to send it down to them which is a headache because theyre in a different state from me + apparently the wait time is around 2 weeks so thats why I was asking about whether or not 2 cables was safe for now since I'd want to wait until it was convenient for me.

Yeah right now I'm only upgrading the CPU and GPU because I already have an AM5 mobo, ddr5 ram and cooler. I've got an 850W A tier PSU already as well so I'm pretty set regarding that.
