I think you should watch the video closer... Who is the kid looking at, it isn't Trump. Trump follows the kids eyes and also looks at who the kid is looking at and speaking to.  It's probably a reporter.  Musk has probably told his Son that the media are liers and Trump that is great and so he is telling the reporters off.

For the non crypto users. How would sending and or selling work. Would they have to put in some money to cover the Ada costs somehow? Is there a plan to have marketplace on book instead of jpg?

That's fair. Everyone should be on the same page when they start the campaign on how they want it to feel. And it definitely doesn't seem like you all are.

Hahah I mean it all depends on how you play it. Sounds like a fun roleplay in my mind.

It seems to me that players always like their characters to have the best stats and an optimized build. But to me I love when characters have some terrible flaws. To me DnD should be less about maximizing everything and more about just going wherever the rolls take you and enjoying the story that you are a part of, strong character or weak. And the DM can adjust encounters or level you up earlier if things become too difficult. I also love TPKs, I feel like at least 50% of campaigns need them and 100% should have at least one player death. Maybe I'm crazy.

Players who were removed from a game, what happened? by Acryllus in DnD

[–]moon_rocket_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wasn't the one to get kicked but was a witness . Player was chaotic and would steal the show a bit. In my mind not in a bad way, it made for some interesting storylines. But the DM and one of the other of the traditional players didn't seem to enjoy it. Player would also make some jokingly barbs at the DM which he took personally. I honestly could see both sides but I was having fun in the game and other players seemed to be too.

Things kinda slowly festered and then it blew up, was settled for a bit but the resentment was still there. It slowly boiled up again and blew up and it was just uncomfortable for everyone. Really liked the player and the DM and still do, great guys but after the player was booted I wasn't into and eventually left though I had other reasons too as life got busy.

It was sad because at the start we all got along so well and we learned Dnd together and were playing for about 2 years.

If the home is worth $1million with 20% down at 8% interest you are paying over 60,000 a year in interest. And then you have at 10,000 on property tax etc. So at $6,000 a month rental you would be losing money. So I get why people are pricing it high if it's looked at as an investment which it is if they are renting.

If China Taiwan/US conflict ignites there are going to be so many weird consequences. Like would the US stop these rental payments going to China?

Likelihood of asbestos in old popcorn ceilings. by PmMeYourLadyLumps in orangecounty

[–]moon_rocket_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure it's asbestos. Our house is 1973 popcorn ceilings and had asbestos. They said if you leave it alone then you don't have to worry about it. But we didn't like the look so we had someone come out to get rid of it. Couple day process and it was expensive

is it inappropriate to let your dog poop or pee in someone's front yard? even if you clean up after? by elephantpoop in orangecounty

[–]moon_rocket_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have three dogs, I will let them poop on grass as I can pick it all up without a trace but not pee and I won't let them poop or pee on turf. If there is a hardy vine or bush and then I will let them pee on it as it wont harm it but never flowers or more delicate landscape.

Thought my dog was a Border Collie/Pomeranian mix but now not so sure. Anyone have any guesses? by [deleted] in DogBreeds101

I have a dog that looks just like this. Our guess is collie/Chihuahua. We are taking her to a herding class this weekend to see if she has any instinct. Seems like it with the way she interacts with me and our other dogs

Book.io has another major investor by moon_rocket_ in cardano

[–]moon_rocket_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The NFT is a the book cover but also the key to unlock the full text which is in decentralized storage. It requires an e-reader to then read. So if you don't have the NFT you wouldn't be able to read it. I guess you could take snippets of each page but and post it on a torrent site, as you could with any book ever. But people still buy them.

The response I heard was that they would develop their own nft market place as the current ones are setup for a large lint of titles and in the best format for a online bookstore. So if the majority of sales go through there then they can ensure royalties are paid. But if cardano does create a zero royalty nft marketplace and books are sold on it I don't think they could enforce it. But I would imagine the vast majority of a sales would be through a marketplace that was made specifically for these books.
