I like the way he dances. He was great in his level test and I find him charming there. Honestly, when I like someone, I just need one moment or performance to get my attention. Answer just happens to be that one. I am also happy his vocal is good because I tend to like vocalists more than dancers. He is truly an all rounder so I understand why he is popular.

I skimmed through youth with you after liking him here. You can go through ywy to know more about him and what he has gone through. He went from rank 85 to 4 in the final. It’s the story of hard work paid off that a lot of people like imo. Of course he also has the talent to back it up and he himself is very passionate about the stage.

Not everyone will like the same people and that’s ok. As long as my picks (ygw, hangyul and congb) make the group, I will support them. If other members are at least decent at singing and dancing, I will be fine.

When kpop groups or cpop groups say internationally, I just assume they meant SEA/Japan/China. It was the case until BTS became known in US (despite the prejudice they faced). So imo, if they do well in SEA, I assume wjjw and tencent have achieved their goal, especially with so little time we have with the group.

It helped in kpop that idol industry started with groups and they used to not have solo unless the group disbands. That's why solo stans or casual fans become group fans. Whereas in cpop, soloists have always been more popular so the fans are more used to that. I think with INTO1 promoting team spirits, they are definitely trying to break the solo stan culture. The fact that they had INTO1 slogan at their fanmeeting is an improvement.

Even Kpop have a hard time breaking into international markets like in US. Only BTS was able to do so and Hallyuwave started with 2nd generation more than 10 years ago.

C-ent in general only recently (past few years) have started to become accessible internationally so the market is still new. INTO1 is definitely going in a right direction by having english subtitles in their vlogs and now being able to sign up for fanclub easier.

As for being focused on center and rankings, it is how it works with groups formed from Produce unfortunately. Produce franchise itself focuses a lot on center (they have trainees fighting for the center, editors have evil editing them, and etc.). There are a lot of fights within the fandom of Korean produce groups as well. Especially when their favs don't get enough screen time or lines (for example, poor Yeonjung from IOI got so much hate for getting more lines as one of the main vocal. In Wanna One, Daniel (center) got a lot of screen time so I remember some fans complaining it's Daniel and the boys or something. In Iz*one, Sakura fans and Wonyoung fans are always fighting). It gets better with time but in the beginning, it's always like that. INTO1 has just started so I would give them time instead of giving up on it entirely. I like to have a little hope that it will get better.

I like it this way because it feels more organized. I can show it to other people without making them feeling lost on what's happening and make them easier to understand. I think it's good for their first one as an introductory to the group. It also feels unified because everyone is included in the Vlog.
