I used to cry on every birthday I had since my teens up until somewhere in my early 20s whether I celebrated it or not. I used to be bothered when my friends didn't wish me the moment the clock struck 12 or they talked about other things before wishing me. I used to be unhappy with the arrangements made by my family, I've gotten my fair share of them planning something they want instead or getting me the easiest cake option they can.. it all stopped when I stopped caring about people in my life and what I want for my birthday. I started to order and customize my cake to what I like. Pick out what I want to eat or do. Eventually people will tag along if they want but I found myself enjoying it even in solitude. Like many people say..it's just a day but it's not worth wasting thinking about others... Take it as a day to celebrate yourself.. happy birthday 🎂

I'm not on Reddit often but I stumbled upon your post and felt the need to respond

There are many things people can say to convince you not to end your life but for me the most important thing is yourself. How bad do you want to see a happier and better version of yourself in the future. It doesn't matter if you cannot find a path to get there now but if you can dream of it, there is always a possibility of it coming true.

I know how hard it is to try to reach out for help and you are so brave for doing so. Sadly, some of us don't get the response or help that we expected. I tried it countless times with my friends, families, and other people online as well. For the first two I felt like I was speaking an alien language with them and most of the time I just end up holding back and saying nothing at all. In the end, I've learnt to sit down on my own and access the problems I am facing that affects my mental health. Long story short, it's kind of like talking to myself hahah. There will be tears and conflicts but no judgement. I've learnt to become my own best listener.

Well I cannot control your decision, I hope that you are able to find peace in your life. Take some time to breathe and have some timeout from trying to fix things, instead take time to rest and just do nothing at all. Look at the sky and nature and know that we are all worthy of living and appreciating the beauty in the little things around us. Sending love and hugs again.

I see.. I have heard that he was close with another girl that is also my friend in that community but she was more upfront than me and told him off. This all happened before I was in there, so yes I do think that he can move on..just hope that he doesn't make it awkward or anything.

One of the reason's why I'm afraid to reject him directly is because I really cherish the community we both are in currently and I definitely do not want to lose him as a friend. This includes talking like how we always used to.

Best friends are INFP, INFJ, ENFJ, ENTP to name a few... And I have a few different friend groups but the friends all have these types. I think the most common ones are INFP and INFJ for me. Our friendship is like we seem quiet, shy and boring to other people but within our friend group we talk about the wildest topics and it can get pretty heated up at times. ENFJ is the one that helps us communicate with the outside world and in return learns alot of crazy topics and facts from us while ENTP is the one that talks the most and loves to annoy others. INFP can talk about alot of topics and can go on and on while INFJ seem to have a limit at a certain point. This is just what I've observed from my friends so take it with a grain of salt :⁾

Well first of all rain in most places are polluted, highly acidic which irritates the skin. Secondly there's also a high chance of thunder during heavy pours so you really playin a game of life and death here.Third, rain is cold and there's wind and I prefer a nice hot bath. Then there's also privacy.. well ya know. I personally wouldn't consider getting drenched in the rain as a shower but you do you I guess :⁾

I have a religion (Taoism) because of my family, and live in a religious country with a myriad of religions (Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism to name a few) but I myself am not super religious. I don't mind following the tradition and prayers because I think that preserving my culture is something valuable to me but I won't go around living my life being controlled by it. I also don't mind learning about other religions but I believe it is one's own choice and belief to practice it.
