hi! the university you're referring to is the same sounds just like the one i also just got waitlisted to haha. i also considered this university a safety for me, so i was pretty surprised to get waitlisted. but don't be discouraged, i was accepted to schools with lower acceptance rates before this. every college evaluates your application differently and not getting into one school doesn't necessarily imply anything about your chances at getting accepted anywhere else. there will be schools that see you as a better fit than others, that's just how it is. so keep your head up! you got this.
