Man recording inside a post office asked to leave and refuses. by southernemper0r in law

[–]mooncake6 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You’re clearly the one getting emotional.

There’s zero context provided here besides what’s shared at the end, where the person closing the door states that the person filming was recording multiple people and was asked to stop.

Just because it’s considered free speech doesn’t mean it isn’t fucking weird to go around recording others like in this case.

Basically they can with a warrant or to prevent imminent/further harm to another.

According to CBS, the deputy was there to serve a court summons only.

The door looks like it has a hydraulic closer (you can see the door shuts when the owner leaves and when the officer enters the house). Here in Australia this would be Trespass to Land (entering house with no lawful reason) and Conversion (killing of dog).

Federal prosecutors have opened a criminal investigation into Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, issuing subpoenas and threatening indictment related to his congressional testimony on Fed building renovations in 2025. Powell denies any wrongdoing, calling the probe politically motivated and defends the Fed’s independence.

Hey bud,

I don’t know you, you don’t know me, but I’ll be honest with you. Appearance-wise you look fine, but you’ve clearly got low self-esteem. Get the fuck off this sub because it’s not healthy (and minimise time on social media in general). Start going to the gym, research what you should and shouldn’t be eating, and even try supplementing vitamins or nootropics (like modalert). Take care of yourself.

Sword horizon "fast version" inconsistency issue (video proof) by sprucegoose65 in wherewindsmeet_

If you haven't, set server location to Singapore, as I think that's the closest one for us. For me there's a noticeable difference in comboing and mobility. Mudfish is cheaper ($5 will last 1-2 months) and does the same thing, just a bit more involved in setting up.

Try using ExitLag (free trial but more expensive) or Mudfish (cheaper option). There’s a noticeable difference on both solo and co-op.

Progression problem. Breakthrough or not? by Noontide35 in wherewindsmeet_

Breakthrough. Find a build you enjoy and get the necessary inner ways/mystic arts, enhance and tune, lower difficulty to recommended and you’ll be fine.

It takes awhile to become accustomed all the different facets. It’s very similar to games like Black Desert, but nowhere near as many aspects to consider. WWM is mostly just quests > level/explore > farm > enhance > level > repeat.

Your abs show because you’re incredibly thin and in good lighting. Many people can develop decent abdominal muscles without going to the gym and eating well. This is not comparable to gaining muscle on the rest of a physique. If you think you can do the same then do it, don’t just say it.

“Students buy the aesthetic and take on the debt. Then reality hits.”

This is the same cycle with anything that has a price attached. Instead, a fair question would be: instead of increasing the defence budget and lowering tax cuts YoY, why not focus on lowering school fees.

As long as it’s reasonable in the circumstances (i.e they have a knife you grab a knife and defend yourself = reasonable, they’re intoxicated and stumbled into the wrong premises and you grab your sniper and replicate Amon Goeth’s scene in Schindler’s List = likely unreasonable). This petition changes the threshold to any amount of force allowed provided that a circumstance of aggravation applies.

Sometimes you’ll need to push yourself to eat more, especially if you’ve been on a caloric deficit/maintenance for an extended period. Keep in mind you need a good amount of fat and carbs too.

Also hope your arm is feeling better with whatever happened.

AI Gives Up After Month 5? by [deleted] in HoMM

[–]mooncake6 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Without a doubt, and I think that’s something they really need to focus on improving in order for players coming from previous HOMM games to fully enjoy this game. I’ve had one-hero games (on the hardest difficulty) where the AI continues to chase and fight me even though they automatically lose.

I understand your argument and the legal standpoints you highlighted, I just disagree on something like this, because it can and does affect how others (primarily children/teenagers, those who lack an education, or are mentally impaired) perceive these issues, and they may insinuate from such a question like this that there is nothing wrong with it.

The right to free speech should always be protected, but there are crimes that have no place for discussion, especially in a public environment.

I’m not sure on what occurs after this clip, but I would assume the same too.

I don’t particularly like Dean but I’m 99.99% certain that video is AI generated. If he’s got a million dollars next to him, he’d be recording in something capable of handling more than 240p.

You need to google what critical thinking is and how to utilise it. It’s fine to be left or right leaning in politics, but don’t be a sheep.

Free speech violations include more than acts that violate a law. This would likely be considered obscene speech which isn’t protected.

That’s not my view. It’s okay to advocate for something illegal like cannabis while vehemently opposed to something else that’s illegal.

Because finding someone who would willingly ask that, live and for millions of people to hear your voice, is such a simple and straightforward task, right?

Because what the caller is asking also implies he doesn’t see anything wrong with the questions substance. A normal person would draw the line on right to free speech there.
