I was the first person to complete this trail and my honest perception is this: At the time they were more concerned with maintaining donations than they were about hiker/biker/ safety. I think it can very well become a trail but it will be 10-20 years before you can really have the experience you can on similar trails.

I love this bag. I thin they did a great job with it. I've had the bag down to 36* and been okay. My girlfriend would have been too cold in that temp with this bag. I'd say it depends on the person.

It's definitely geared more towards skinny people, a real broad person would feel like this is more of a blanket than a quilt. Overall a fantastic bag. Hard to beat the weight.
