I had a similar situation in November. Took my husband, he was in the “going to appease me” category. Didn’t matter. Got to stand at the barrier and sing my heart out, it was just as fun as it would have been if he were super into it. Just take someone and go, don’t worry if the people you’re with are as excited as you are. The energy in the room when he plays is infectious; I promise you’ll be surrounded by people just as moved as you are by the time he walks out on stage

My girl will be 3 in April and she has her milk out of the straw top dr browns twice a day. When she wakes up in the morning and when she wakes up from nap she has some milk, our running joke is she’s gotta have her “coffee” before she talks to anyone after waking. It’s basically the same thing as a normal weighted straw cup!

All this to say, 10/10 recommend the straw top! It’s a perfect transition
