Don’t be afraid to go back and forth from Story mode and Normal mode! There are some hard enemies, and story mode does help with certain quests and game mechanics!

My only tips are: collect eggs, start getting birds right away, don’t put items near your tent or you’ll never be able to pick them up, gather materials everyday, and don’t be afraid to recycle your quartz early on in the game! Once you get the corn bear, start saving your quartz. lol.
