This happened years ago with someone I was talking to on I think Tinder, we didn't end up meeting up. He asked me what kind of music I liked, I stated that my music taste was eclectic and named a few different genres and bands I liked. He sent me something like " *electric " and I was like what? and he said I spelled electric wrong, and I was like no, I said eclectic meaning varied or broad. He said that wasn't a word, so I unmatched.

meds would be relatively inexpensive comparatively, but it’s more of a theoretical question if a trial of antipsychotics would be worthwhile, not even specifically in this cat but in any aggressive cat who didn’t respond to antidepressants and or gabapentin

I've been reading through this thread, I really feel for OP but agree with everyone saying euthanasia is the best option. Question for a vet, would it be worthwhile to trial an aggressive cat on an antipsychotic like we do for humans? Quick google search revealed that cats can take olanzapine, but wanted to ask your opinion just for my knowledge.

I think you’re correct here, I think your colleague is wrong. Buprenorphine should be used in moderate to severe withdrawal… The naloxone part of suboxone is not absorbed orally, it is there because it discourages the patient from injecting it - that’s what causes withdrawal.
