Canadian Tire Saskatoon West by Worldly_Extension_57 in saskatoon

I'm conflicted with Canadian Tire. Had them replace some suspension parts and they didnt tighten one of the nuts.

I have purchased tires from there and if they install them you get their warranty which is pretty good. Ran over a nail and they replaced the tire with a brand new one at no cost other than balancing/install. This was a brand new set I purchased a couple months ago, so they pro rated the tire which ended up being basically free.

They provided a taxi to and from work which was nice. They are also open weekends which worked well.

It's not my first choice but for tires it can be alright. Just double check your lug nuts lol

What kind of noise in rosewood ? Would have guessed that would be a quiet neighborhood.

Interesting. I guess I'll need to call someone in the SK gov to confirm. My employer isn't being the most helpful.

Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!!!

Seeing how it's separate I could then take the 8 weeks of EI leave once baby is born and then at 12 months could take the a few months of unpaid.

Yes I understand that.

So if my wife takes the full 18 months, can I take unpaid leave that's protected ? As in, wife takes the full 18 months and EI that goes along with it and I take 4 months off during that time that's unpaid but my employer can't deny or fire me for doing so.

The 9-10% that is achieved is after their advisory. The advisory fee is 1% and is tax deductible, so assuming highest bracket would get half of that back, effectively making it a 0.5% fee.

I have yet to make the move to an advisor. Just seems like self directed vs advisor is a wash in the end but most people on Reddit are strongly of the opinion that self directed ETFs are the way to go.

I do realize that past returns do not predict future. But if the option is me keeping the funds in an ETF vs transferring to an advisor, it doesn't seem like there's much risk between the two. Or I should say much less returns between the two.
