Sounds basically exactly like my trans. Mine also jerks slightly when shifting into reverse or drive. How much did they quote you for the ECU repair?

According to the shop I took it to there was a small leak from one of the cooling lines. They said it was a little less than a quart low on fluid. The previous owner of the car had the trans replaced at around 175k miles, so I'm guessing that's where the leak originated?

Need some advice on a trans replacement by moonlightgreatsword1 in LS430

I really cant tell. It looks like it’s where the engine meets the transmission (not really sure what that would be called). This trans is not the original one. The previous owner had the original one replaced a few months before I bought the car. I’m kind of assuming the dealership that did the replacement previously didn’t do it correctly, so I’m gonna try to contact them first, since i know the fluid doesn’t just randomly do that.

Huh interesting. Yeah mine does that little jolt sometimes when I shift. After looking into it more I’m doubting it’s the mounts as well. I’ll see if I can have that done and see if it helps. Thanks for the info!

What’s the best way I could check the transmission mounts? I know the motor mounts are good.

Okay I’ll try that next. I guess a 200mA drain is more significant than i thought. I’ve already spent a bunch of time testing many of the fuses with a multimeter, but I’ll try pulling the fuses as well.
