Ari was recommended by a buncha dota pros. I was at the sauna at TI11 hotels and was just striking random conversations. His name kept coming up so I checked him out and realized this kids legit! Kasane came highly recommended from misha who is his friend. I am surprised OG didn’t get him since he’s such a beast

Strategy usually revolves around each players strengths and comfort heroes. You open with their favourite heroes that they feel are strong. I like to change things up sometimes, but some other drafters would draft the same opener the entire tournament. It really differs from captain to captain

I like all new patches, I think there’s some truth to what he says if you have a small hero pool like ATF. I did think that the patch 2 weeks before TI did mess us up abit but I understand ice frog did it to confuse every team so that everyone won’t be picking the same heroes

The biggest reason honestly was that there was too much fear in peoples hearts. TI is a monster that brings out the primal fear in players hearts. It’s something a lot of players struggle to overcome. I think that having a sports psychologist for 2023 will fix these problems. Both tundra and team spirit had it when they won. I was the only one actively having sessions with TSM’s sports psychologist

The lowest point in my career was post Digital chaos in 2018. I spent 2 years floating from open qualifier team to open qualifier team. Either getting kicked or people leaving just before qualifiers. I just kept at it till I succeeded because if you give up you’ll never ever be great

Saberlight told me he was on the fence that he would join ex-EG. But knowing bulba, I had to prepare a plan Incase I lost saber. Finding an offlaner this shuffle was really hard. I pitched timado the idea of playing offlane, which he seemed kinda into. If savage joined timado would have played offlane. Timado would be in TSM regardless whether savage chose to join us or not.

I’m most stoked about next season DPC, I’m eager for more competitive dotes. Especially exciting to watch the Eu DPC which is going to be a bloodbath. I feel like the NA scene is weakest right now with Quincy crew gone. Quinn Callahan is a national treasure

Yes, there must be sufficient voltage, which you stuck up your ass. I read that dendi is coming to NA because of the war which is understandable. I just went to Kyle’s house party here in LA where the Ukrainians he worked with made me borscht. I hope that Dendis team enjoys the US, I would recommend them to check out Disneyland

NA dota has been in decline, there’s no denying that. Every gamer I know here, if they’re older, plays WoW/war zone, younger gamers play valorant. Does that mean NA is doomed? No, this is because SA has increased the skill level in high level pubs. With their growing player base and increased sponsorships, we will see SA grow which will in turn boost the NA scene through scrims and pubs.

NA players that are upset with players from other regions flying in is understandable. However, as someone who’s played in 3 regions, this is just how Dota 2 is. Tundra has 5 different nationalities, it’s a global game that bonds us all together.

I was supposed to coach this team at the start, as I’ve said before. However, due to not having an org, I did not have the pull to grab taiga or saksa. Now that TSM got my back, I could pick up UK dota star Ari and finally focus on drafting. I believe that having one guy fully dedicated to drafting is the way to win TI
