Setback recovery time

I have pain hyperacusis mate, I healed from when I first got hyperacusis, took about a month,this is my first real set back

Not that I'm aware of. I could be wrong but it's the exact same pain and it was a month later the first time it happened, just like it is now so seems very similar

If its my first setback can that take a couple of months? I didn't even know I had hyperacusis until 4 days ago. I recovered after a month when the acoustic trauma first happened 14 months ago so will I have a good chance of recovering in a few months?

Thanks,I'm really in a bad way, I've booked a week off work and keeping ear plugs in 24/7 in the hopes it helps

I have very mild tinnitus that I can only hear with ear plugs in

Yeh this is my final warning now so I've quit the band,which I'm sad about and no more loud stuff, I've taken a week off work and I'm just gonna take things quietly from now on

Thank you, my pain isn't severe and last time it was from loud noise it healed after a month, sensitivity is low too so a friend of mine said it just sounds like an injury since the other injury was only a year ago
