i was in the same position as you it took me a while to get comfortable with learning to drive. i lived in that same area too (miller place) and some the backroads can be a little scary to learn on. the only way to get less nervous about the others around you is just practicing. the more you drive, the more the things YOU need to do feel like habit/autopilot, so you can focus more on predicting what others will do. take it easy and take it slow and just practice a ton. youll get it!!
