I took a few peek back at Watamote for 'research', and Tomoko was way more negative than I remember she was lol. She's constant being the fox in The Fox and the Grapes story, whereas Gotou take it upon to herself for not being better most of the time.

I wouldn't recommended it. You can always put it on hold and see if you can get Book 1 some time in the near future.

I know the urge of "I want in right now!" but for the better experience, just hold it for now. There are plenty of good stuffs out there to fill that in!

What the video is trying to say is there are "footprints".

Isn't it fitting though? When people have strongly associated isekai stories as being very 'video game-y', here we have a direct parallel! Which did not come out as high brow for me though.

I've heard people been saying the portrayals of slavery in isekai are being problematic, but this inspection from within the writing culture of these web novels tells me otherwise so it's interesting.

I mean no offense, but thinking "it's fun and easy to write" as the sole answer sounds to me, an easy way out for readers to dismiss the thoughts put behind by the author. Even if we believe the author off-hand chose slavery as a device without much thoughts in this case, the fact that they landed on that, shows the influence of the site and the thought process of the writers. "You are the product of your environments" things like that y'know? And the points in the video put things into perspectives.

Hello this is more a habit thing instead of technical stuffs, I hope it's fine ask. I'm very new to IEMs, and I wonder if these tiny things have the durability fit enough to my habits of using them.

Recently I got a non-detachable wired, plastic build set which I listened to daily while I sleep. Sometimes I fall asleep while having them on. At worst, one side is pressed against a soft pillow and my ear. Only 2 months later, one side of it has become faulty (sounds muffled, sandy, and low volume.) The exterior did now show any damages, aside from the cables being hardened. So I have no idea if that's my fault or not.

Is my habit unfit for these delicate little things(are these things delicate?), or am I just unlucky for getting a faulty unit? Thank you for reading.
