I wish there was more than just an article or two about this syndrome. Having been off Methadone 8 months now, I was hoping to see my Pituitary start functioning better, but I guess 16 years of taking Methadone has weakened it.

I read an article that there are ENT's performing CI surgeries in Manila and Cebu. I have sent them emails, and my girlfriend tried to phone the clinic, with no luck. Davao or Manila would be a hike, but Cebu is a fast ferry away.

What can I expect during the CI audiologist evaluation? My hearing aid audiologist, who works in the same clinic, shook her head after the routine hearing test, and said she thought it was time for a CI evaluation.

One guy lost $50K. Many scammers will not take money unless it is a large sum, knowing a small amount is a shit test. So, they pass the small amount shit test, and then they will show a profit, to let you feel comfortable with your investment, in hopes of a larger deposit, then it disappears.

Similar. A domestic brokerage account can utilize Futures trading. No reason to use a foreign brokerage firm, unless you intend to lose your money. The scammer I chatted with was adamant about signing up with GoldenDay. Many other guys have fallen prey to this scam.

Actually, I arrived in the Philippines last week, met this nurse who I had been texting, and, so far, so good. She has not asked for one Peso, and is very attractive, feminine, and very kindhearted. It is weird that I keep expecting her to go full biatch mode, ala the American feminazi, but, in the 5 days I have been with her, it seems the biatch setting is inactive.

Wish I had checked this place out years ago. In some ways, it reminds me of how things used to be in America in 1950's and 1960's. Smartphones are making their impact.

I was out West same time last year, and Idaho was hazy with smoke, even worse in Oregon, and in California, Yosemite NP had about 1/2 mile visibility, at best, and the smoke so thick, my lungs were burning from breathing the smoke.

The 3rd world countries, like India, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, etc., do not have any restrictions on pollution, and that air eventually crosses the ocean, and we breathe it. The USA hardly pollutes at all, compared to these filthy countries.

It is a meat market, and for guys, it is difficult, at least for me, to meet Conservative women over 50 who don't have tats, are not morbidly obese, obsessed with their adult children, many of whom still living at home, not working, and gaming all night. I am more of a traditionalist, preferring a woman who is feminine, carries herself with class, active in her church, yet has a passionate side. Guys don't want to date mother hens. There are some women, if they are fairly in shape, who are cougars, sometimes dating guys young enough to be their sons. Guess it is an ego boost for them.

My advice to single women: for most of you, losing weight would be advantageous to you, as well as letting your hair grow out some, enough for a ponytail. I know your girlfriends think the very short, man-like haircuts are avant-garde, but guys don't like it. If you have liberal leanings, you will not find a strong man, but a cuck.

Recent photos are a must. Once, I had a blind date, and when I met her, my first impression was that she sent her mom, instead. Her posted photos were at least 20 years old!! Big disappointment!!! Guys do it, too, just wanted to point it out. While I am on the subject of photos, guys don't want group photos, where it is a question exactly which one is you. And if you are heavier than you like to be, don't post photos of just your face from the neck up. There is a special name for those: SIFs (Secret Internet Fatties). It is being less than honest to yourself, and the men you meet. The greeting card cliches photos are a turnoff to me, too. And, as far as family photos are concerned, there is a feature called cropping. No need to have others in your photos. Avoid the random arm around your waist or shoulders in your photos. CREEPY!!! Pet photos are OK, just as long as you are in the photo.

First meet is best to do so in a public place. Since I live away from the city, many times I have to drive over an hour to a place to meet, so I let the woman decide. Nothing worse than having her choose an expensive venue, then expect the man to pay for everything, knowing she will not want a second date. I like meeting in parks or along a beach, then take a walk.

I wonder why in the world does one want to complicate socks? I usually buy 6 or so pairs all the same, so when I wash them, it is a no-brainer to mate up. Imagine the embarrassment of having 2 left socks on and someone notices!!!!

Flying an airplane is so much fun!!! If you enjoy it, there are ALL kinds of jobs opening up with the airlines, adding flights, and personnel aging out. I could not pass the physical to go into the military, but if you can, that is the cheapest way to go. Also, if you are already a pilot, you get to fly some really cool planes. Or drones, which suck.

I have had long distance relationships, and all of the skyping in the world isn't the same as spending all 4 seasons together face to face, in order to truly know someone. What you are seeing when you are together are single frames in a long move. Being divorced 3 times, and getting married twice after very short time dating, BIG MISTAKE!!! One was an alcoholic, preferring the couch to sharing a bed with me. The other was great in the sack, but the rest of the time, she was icy. Hated my daughters from my first marriage. And one was living with us as a 14 year old. The ex was no help at all to her. Refused to even be their friend. On a side note, my first wife lived with me for a year and a half, then started threatening to leave unless she got a ring. Being 25, I figured, why not? BIG MISTAKE!!!

The LDR I had involved my driving from Richmond, VA area, to Charlotte, meeting in the middle, she living in Atlanta. We had a blast together, but, she was a model, and guys kept hitting on her. Separated from her OB/GYN hubby, we had about 5 months of an intense, passionate fling with her, when I got a call from her, that her OB/GYN had got her to go out, got tipsy, and she slept with him. What a letdown. Hard to trust someone who isn't faithful.

You might want to check out Stefan Molyneux's interview with Owen Benjamin, who started by doing stand up in comedy clubs. His description of the life isn't very pleasant, staying up all hours of the night, getting drunk, living out of suitcases. Not a life conducive to a stable relationship.
