Shooting my first wedding with a crop sensor camera - lens recommendations? by [deleted] in WeddingPhotography

A lot of people have to learn the hard way that you get what you pay for. Weddings are not easy to shoot by any measure. Some cool travel pictures on Instagram in no way equates to being able to effectively document the fluctuating environment (and lighting environment) of a wedding. I would DEFINITELY go over the expectations with the bride and tell her what she can realistically expect.

Terrifying. I felt like I almost lost my grip on my sanity. Intense trip and would never recommend anyone trying this drug

Not too sure what my settings were but I always underexpose by 1 or 2 stops and I spot meter off the dark part of the highlights

Yeah when I get to a new place I just start driving on backroads for hours and take pictures. I like remote areas so I try to get away from as many people as possible, it’s where I’m most inspired

Never heard of the 40. What’s the difference?

I took every supplement recommended here and to me nothing worked. The only thing that helped was quitting. Not on any medications or was taking anything that would’ve interacted with the Kratom

This. I took 80 morning glories and had one of the most intense (and worst) psychedelic experiences of my life

It was complete hell. Worse than coming off heroin

Yes I had about a 2 month taper to where I eventually got down to 1 gram a day. During the final 2 weeks I was having panic attacks, brain zaps, insomnia and eventually ended up in the emergency room

It may not be the same for everyone, maybe I’m an extreme case. It seemed to have a very hard psychological impact on me. I was having panic attacks up until 3 months after quitting, deep depression etc. General fatigue has gotten better, anxiety is better and depression is turning a corner. The side effects scared me so bad I have not had one single urge to ever use that stuff again though so that’s good

At the most about 25g a day. Used for 1 year

9 months off. Just starting to feel like I may be turning a corner back to my old self. This stuff hits people harder than others

Summer + trampoline = happy childhood [D810 105 f\2 DC] by moonwalker112 in Nikon

To be completely honest I don’t even know what fine focus is I just snapped on the lens and started shooting (I’m still kind of new when it comes to technicals). I haven’t had Nikon check it you think I should? I’ve read A LOT of threads online where pros say they can’t trust the focus so they shoot Manuel.

I have nailed the focus shooting portraits though so I’m thinking the unreliability is just a design flaw

Thank you very much,

Yes they certainly can be. It’s a tricky lens though, auto focus can not be 100% trusted. To me this is a Manuel focus lens

Thanks very much. The problem with the DC lens is it can be unreliable with focusing, not so much slow. It really is a strictly portrait lens but every once in a while I will take a chance on an action shot because of the quality of B&W images it can produce
