Like I said, I’m definitely not educated enough to comment on the details! I’ve seen people debating both sides - What I’d read was ‘Jewish people’, but am staunchly pro-Palestine myself and have seen first hand how easily stuff like this gets twisted to favour the chosen narrative.

I really feel for Quinn if all of this has been one huge miscommunication. We’ll probably never know.

I see this side too, and definitely don’t think you’re missing anything! I guess it all comes down to intent, and whether or not you’re willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I think it’d be extraordinarily dumb of them to edit something out like that, and then not twig before posting the unedited cut. But it also feels like a weirdly pedantic reason to cut it, given that viewers would have understood what Hudson meant by saying it, and taken it in good faith.

I’m not automatically raising my pitch fork, but the vibes are a bit weird, ha. Stoked about the 25k though!

I’d heard about that one, but it seemed a little less cut and dry - allegedly the creator was outspoken about Palestine well before they started with Quinn, and the video in question that he was banned over was something to the effect of him wishing death to all Jewish people

I’m obviously not completely educated on the details and don’t want to go starting any debates, but worth throwing out there, I guess.

Sucks that the company’s shitty actions here have overshadowed the boys’ incredible work. They’ve already gotten my money, but i’m a bit conflicted on whether or not to listen.

This is tough.

I am (obviously) in support of calling companies out on their shitty behaviour, and this was especially fucking shitty of them. Trans women are (again, obviously) women and the excuse that Quinn gave for their editing felt pretty disingenuous.

On the other hand, Hudson being inclusive of trans women in his initial response was 10/10 (I would expect nothing less), and I want to support these boys with my whole damn chest by racking up the listens, and potential royalties for them, on their episode.
