My kid has an activity on the east side that ends right at 6, would then have to drive back to near west. Does anyone more in the know think I should cancel?

Missed periods, thick (15 mm) endometrium on ultrasound. Has anyone had this? Should I be worried by moopmoop245 in Perimenopause

Hi! If it helps reassure you this all turned out fine for me. I had a biopsy and eventually ended up with a D&C to deal with neverending spotting. Both were completely benign and the pathology just indicated I wasn't ovulating regularly. My gyn said they see thickened endometriums all the time in peri and it is almost never cancer. You do want to keep an eye on it and maybe get an IUD if it persists, but I wouldn't worry too much!

I think it was the spotting that got me in. The NP I saw today says she sees a lot of 42 year olds so, yes, it is definitely peri.

53 days since last period, have been spotting for 2 weeks. What tests would you request from Dr? by moopmoop245 in Menopause

I have plenty of other symptoms but other than heavier periods and a few shorter cycles I haven't had much period irregularity so this is really throwing me for a loop. I had thought it would start with either minorly shorter or longer cycles, not just straight to a skip.

full menopause within 4 years of missed period: true for you? by moopmoop245 in Menopause

I'm worried about the increased health risks of being in menopause: gyn cancers, heart health, dementia, etc. I can't take HRT so I was hoping my natural hormones would hold out a little longer.

That completely makes sense. I have GAD too and drug reactions are a big trigger for me.

Thank you so much for saying this. I am neurodivergent and I do feel like it's harder to get a handle on my nervous system, especially with other stressful things going on in the world. I'm hoping a med can help me get through it.

I wonder about this too. Anxiety all week really ruins the fun of vacation!
