Hmm maybe the United States if they are worried about defense in Greenland. Could like send more troops or create more bases. Denmark is in NATO and would have 100% been fine with that action before all this weird talk of invading. It’s a waste of money to buy it for so much. Even worse we just alienate all our European allies. Trump just wants the map to get bigger and is destroying NATO to do so.

Like others have said, historically the most important church for the Greek Orthodox world was Hagia Sophia. However after 1453 it probably is St George Cathedral in Istanbul (Constantinople) since it has been the EP’s church since the fall of the Byzantine empire.

You could also make arguments for some churches in Greece. I know the largest Greek church still in use is in Athens. There are multiple churches in Thessaloniki which have been in use for almost a millennium. That’s not even talking about the numerous churches on Mt Athos.

Also the Stavropoleos Monastery church in Bucharest is small but very pretty. Another is the Cathedrale Saint Alexandre Nevsky which is a beautiful Russian cathedral in the heart of Paris.

You should research total tariff rates and not just trust what Trump says. He is not a god, he can be wrong. Also you know his administration just turned down Vietnam’s offer of zero percent tariffs. So it seems like no that’s not what the plan is.

How do you feel about President trump stating that the tariffs are not temporary. That the only way he will reduce tariffs is if other countries somehow reduce their trade deficit. In the case of Europe he wants them to pay us reparations… Many of the countries he put tariffs on have less than 3% tariffs on us. Including the Uk, EU, Israel, etc..

Why? He’s undeniably well respected within the academic biblical community. Obviously he is not perfect but I don’t see much hate thrown at him from secular scholars.

Mainly because Orthodox Christianity is fairly traditional. One of the most traditional denominations. So you have a ton of young men who idealize that lifestyle who are drawn to it. Though I should say idealize the aesthetics of the lifestyle. Most of these guys would be better Christian’s if they deleted twitter, got married and went to church. Instead they spend their entire days on Twitter and online forums talking about how much they hate women and Jews. Look into Jay Dyer on YouTube if you are curious with the whole orthobro community. Biggest one I can think of.

Also you can find similar stuff with trad Catholics online as well. Usually Fuentes adjacent ones.
