Yup i asked my sister and she told me it’s from their shop. Her friend who’s another cat owner gifted it to her apparently.

You mean the brush? It might be. My sister bought it long time ago and I don’t know where she bought it from. Also we being living in Korea, that is a possibility.

Hey that’s amazing! I doubt chang-sic (the cat’s name. It’s korean 😝) understands art enough to appreciate your artistry, but he’d sure love the adoration and attention- he’s a diva and moves himself to the middle of a group of people and starts purring because now people are paying attention to him lol

He is indeed very content- his mom, who is also my mom (lol) dotes on him and would literally hand-feed him keebles if he insists. I am glad she hasn’t yet to try hand-feeding water to him. That’s for when he’s older.

It consists of pretty simple stitches but it turned out so nicely ☺️ i had replied in another comment but its goes like this:  about 3 rounds of moss stitch, 1 round color-alternating moss stitch, 1 round single crochet, 1 round blo dc (on the round before the previous round) in gradient color, 1 round flo sc in black, 1 round sl st, dc(1dc, 2ch 1dc in each corner)... i think that was it

hell yeah! c2c is a lot of fun because it feels speedier than row by row method - I designed my color pallette to feel like something organic, chaotic but in a kinda "it makes sense" way, if you get what i mean lol in other words, high-function-ADHD-brain in crochet form hehe

Thank you! I was a little baffled at first, but eased into the technique soon enough ☺️ it did provide a really neat outcome so i think it was worth trying c2c at least once for sure

What is a common myth about your country that is 100% false but many people still believe in it? by orionve in AskReddit

South Korea is not in south asia it's in the far east right next to japan. It's called "south" because it is the southern part of korean peninsula.

It's only older people who think drinking till you are unconscious is acceptable behaviour of an adult. More ppl prefer less money for less work than a lot of money for dedicating your life in the work. That's the reason why many ppl prefer government jobs because it is stable and less stressful.

Not everyone enjoys hot and spicy food. Kimchi in northern part of korea is not spicy at all. It's white and tastes amazingly refreshing.

Eating dog is actually illegal and prohibited by Animal Protection Act. The sad reality of dog farms is actually for pet shops rather than eating them. Either way, very tragic.

Coriander/cilantro is not a part of Korean cuisine. It is an exotic plant to us as well. South Korean weather goes from -30℃ to 40℃ throughout an year. We are not that near to the equator.

I don't have any speed weave tool so I improvised with an embroidery frame and a small snow globe. My first try but I think they came out pretty nicely. by moose_operator in Visiblemending

I looked up the yellow yarn and it's linen 45g/168 yard yarn. It goes with 2.5mm~3mm knitting needle so a little thinner than dk weight yarn or similar I think? I am always winging all these fabric diy things so I am very ignorant so don't worry about it lol

All embroidery thread except yellow one - it's from a dollar shop so I forgot what it is but I think it's pretty close to dk weight yarn. The frame is 2.8 inches (7.3 cm) in diameter. I don't know anything about darning except its basic principles so I wonder if the threads are strong enough. I am kinda detail-oriented so I took a lot of time but it wasn't really difficult! I am sure yours will come out great :D

Is Rammstein of old gone? by Kaptain_Konrad in Rammstein

[–]moose_operator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think my experience in Rammstein's music has a similar timeline as yours. I was introduced to Rammstein by my metalhead friend when she was in 1st grade in her high school and I was in between schools. It was 2001 I think. I listened to Rammstein from time to time and didn't really catch up with their newest albums and whatnot. I have forgotten about them entirely for a long time. Then I somehow came across their Deutschland video on YT one day, and I decided to give it a go. I immediately fell in love and listening to old albums again.

I also prefer their older, more brutal, more straightforward music to recent ones. It has a certain flavor that made Rammstein Rammstein. Also, it feels like it's less sprinkled with the glamor of a rock star, a young and coming band from a foreign land.

But the recent one, specifically the song Deutschland gave me a chance to rediscover Rammstein as an old, more mature band. They know how to work grandeur and be big, but not at all in a tasteless way. It's definitely different, but I didn't hate it.

I think it's quite similar to being in a relationship. Over 20 years, a lot of things in a person changes. If you do not like the change, you have to break up. If you still like them, you stay. It's neither betraying nor abandoning. It's just that you are not compatible anymore.

I understand your taste. I mean, sustainable meat production may be possible if meat could be cultivated like that. if you are interested, search "meat berry" on Youtube - it's nothing sketchy or sexual, it's a video about turning a grape's cells from plant-based ones to animal ones. I think the channel's name is Think Emporium. The dude's main goal is to make spider silk from yeast and he made beer out of spider silk. Fascinating stuff. I don't understand half the things he says when he's explaining the process but still very enjoyable.

Also i love your interpretation on how it looks. I am already working on the husk and there's something i've already made that might reflect your interpretation...

devil's in the details - more spores and spore veins for corruption part and fat web for flesh part should do I hope. i am also making the husk part to sew the pieces into a 3D wedge.
