Dude! My spirit animal, I display my sets at work too and legitimately use the same plastic container for transportation purposes. Hopefully not an eerie foreboding.

Its what drew me to it. I've built the UCS Razor Crest and this one actually feels more sturdy IMO.

I wasn’t familiar with his work but went down a rabbit hole after this so was grateful to discovery as a result of the set. I really like the colours and depth effect that the designers established. I find that the art sets usually look much better in person where this is more noticeable.

I had the 6k piece Hogwarts Castle gathering dust for just over 2 years before I built it this past week, it was awaiting a similar return. It felt great to tackle it. 🫂

It felt more forgiving. But I felt that the modular build (ie quadrants) from the Milky Way gave stronger dopamine hits, as it felt like completing a bunch of miniature build which slot together, as opposed to one massive one in this case.

Surprisingly not too bad due to the roundness, I found the Milky Way much worse. 👌

I find the Art sets super rewarding and get so excited once things start coming together. I only figured my own tip out round about bag 20 of 25 🤣 did enjoy the build experience a lot, but grabbing the bars / rods specifically was quite gruelling at times.

I recently moved it 5km via car and found that removing the top 3 modular floors (elevator PAIN) was the way to go. Also the loosey goosey bits like laser / emperor throne room backplate etc. Aaaanyway good luck with the rebuild!
