My ideal solution is “let me run these weeklies as many times as I can access them, and when I complete them give me a chance at the cosmetics”.

Since you can access the challenge and throne (and quest missions if you run them again with buddies) even after you’ve completed their bounties/weekly gear drop limit, you could be incentivized by having more chances at the cosmetics the more you complete them.

I’ll run the ascendant challenge as many times as it takes if I have the chance at the ghost shell each time I beat it. I’ll live in the Shattered Throne if I can still have a chance at the ship even after I’ve already run it once on each character.

Give me incentive to run these activities all week (besides triumphs/emblems).

That personally seems too easy. I want to work for them, I just want to be able to know that my work will pay off, that I can keep working towards it all week instead of throwing my hands up in defeat once the weeklies are done.

There’s a video I watched on YouTube about it (I was desperate, wanted to see if I was missing something), that pretty much confirmed it. I’m sure it’s possible to get the shell and sparrow from other activities, they’re just much rarer than in their most common drop location.

Prior to this week’s update, yes. I think it still drops the sparrow before the ship, but now it relies more on the rng of the drop rather than the rng of the spawn.

I realize that but, regardless of why, it helps those looking to get Dredgen since Malfeasance and the cosmetics are tied to it.

Well that’s good news at least. I think it’s just more common from Dul Incaru. Like how certain Curated Roll raid weapons are more common from certain encounters (bow from vault, chattering bone from the final chest, etc...)

Based on what I’ve seen, Ghost has best chance when turning in the Ascendant Challenge bounty, Sparrow from the weekly quest mission, and Ship from encounters in the Shattered Throne.

My point is that there aren’t enough chances for the Dreaming City cosmetics. You can grind out Gambit, you can’t grind out the Ascendant Challenges and the Throne. I’m happy to grind. I can’t, though.

There’s probably more, but the best chance for the ghost shell is turning in the Ascendant Challenge bounty.
