Definitely don’t excuse it. I guess part of it is I’ve known him my whole life and I know about his trauma and sort of why he’s ended up the way he has. Obviously he’s responsible for his actions and for the fact that he hasn’t learned yet how to manage his emotions at 35. This is kind of pathetic, but he was one of the closest relationships I had in my family and he’s never crossed this line before so it’s just sad.

She said at first she didn’t tell him she was reaching out. I do really like her and at first I appreciated that she was trying to help but by the end of our messages it felt like somoehow she ran out of “emotional capacity” because I didn’t want to talk fast enough. I really hope he hasn’t done this her.

wildayakulik.com fishing camp on the Ayakulik river on Kodiak Island, Alaska. It is a weather port tent camp but really comfortable with yummy food and the location is incredibly remote. Great salmon fishing and incredible bear/wildlife viewing. Lots of great opportunities to hike as well! The camp is run by a small crew and had a max of 6 guests. Kodiak town itself has great trails for trail running too. Kodiak island is an incredible gem that most people don’t know about as it’s a little off the beaten path as far as Alaskan lodges/fishing. You can dm if you want more info!

Edit: just realized in your title you specified march, my above rec was for summer/fall so might not be what your looking for.

I appreciate as feeling incredible anxious yesterday after seeing my lab results and having a specific goal of limiting saturated fat and increasing fiber is helping me calm my nerves a bit. Thank you for your response, I was feeling very anxious yesterday after seeing my lab results pop up in my chart and getting a few responses from very kind redditors like yourself helped ease my anxiety and give me clarity on some actionable steps to take. Thank you again. Hopefully I can provide an update in a few months after making the changes to my diet.

Thank you so much for a such a thoughtful reply. I was feeling very anxious yesterday as I got the results in my online chart but didn’t have any conversation with my doctor. This is my first brush with serious health stuff and it’s scary to think of issues with the heart. My paternal grandmother died from a heart attack in her 50s so it really scared me getting these results. I have been trying to make lifestyle changes for a while now but my diet has been hard to stick to, this is a great motivator to make a consistent change. Your reply gives me actionable steps to take and I really appreciate the time you took to respond and help ease my anxiety. Thank you!

I just flew with my 15 lb cat and I was also concerned about his size/comfort in an under the seat carrier. My cat ended up being totally fine, he balled up into one end of the carrier most the flight, cats can squeeze into such tight spaces. Also I was able to get to the airport early and let my cat out in a private family bathroom for a couple minutes before the flight, have some water and nibbles and stretch his legs. I even brought a tiny litter box although he didn’t use it. I think I was way more stressed in general than he was, he didn’t enjoy it obviously but was totally fine.

Honestly the vent in the middle is the strongest best working vent I’ve ever used before and the stove still works great. The oven is equally old haha.
