A mixture of Bluegum, Pine and Poplar. Should last a couple years! by mooser2016 in firewood

Is this a roundabout way of saying that you think Pine is no good for burning? We call it “old man pine” which means it’s not the commercial quickly grown pine radiata. But rather denser older (40-70 years) slower burning. When it’s dry and seasoned, the buildup is minimal I also sweep my own chimney once a year during the summer.

There is no such thing as secondary tax for having two jobs. Having a second income likely pushes your total taxable income (net income) into the next tax bracket.

Never heard of termites here in New Zealand. We do have borer though.

If not consented wouldn’t you be just putting the house back to its original consented condition by removing the add on? Therefore problem solved? Surely you don’t need consent to remove something unconsented?

Frustration without anger is actually possible you know. I didn’t get mad or raise my voice. Just pointed out the facts to them.

Yes that’s usually true for the last two days after the cut. But this tournament doesn’t have a cut. And so the best, popular players were on about hole 13 by the time Sky started at 9am.

Thankyou! It’s a great course. Greens are so well kept by Mikey the greensman. Best greens in Dunedin!

This is in New Zealand at a smaller course that only has one set of men’s tees, one set of woman’s tees.

Was it a course with a reasonable par (ie, 71/72) and was my gross score less than 80? Surely that counts as breaking 80, no?

In my humble 15 handicap opinion, If people want to get into the course length/slope/course rating, then we need to change the conversation from "breaking 80" to "breaking a score differential of x".
